BUSAN 2009_

Eunsang sat on his bed as Tia Helena just finished reading him a bedtime story.

Eunsang glances at his bedroom door that was slightly opened, the sounds of laughter and chattering that came downstairs were triggering his curiosity.

"Tia Helena, why can't I go out?" Eunsang asks as he heard the clinking sounds of glass.

It was another night in Busan, a Night in summer. where the Lee family would throw crazy fancy and rich parties all night in the Mansion.

"because, your father said so...its okay Eunsang-ah it's only for tonight, tomorrow you can-" Tia Helena couldn't finish her sentence as Eunsang spoke.

"no, I mean literally...why can't I go out and play with other kids?" Eunsang said as he hugged his teddy bear.

"because it's dangerous..." Tia Helena stated,

"why is it dangerous?" Eunsang asks again

"because-"

"if it is dangerous why can other kids play but me?"

"its because-"

"am I that different? why can't I just be like them?" Eunsang anxiously asked as he scratched his ankle.

Tia Helena couldn't respond. she just sighed and pinched Eunsang's chubby cheeks.

she had nothing to say, she never really know what it feels like to have the gates of your home as your boarders

"its just...you'll understand once you'll get older Eunsang-ah I think you need some sleep now." Tia Helena said as he tucked him to bed.

"why not now?" Eunsang asks again.

Tia Helena smiles at the curious boy as she just shrugs.

"you'll know..." Tia Helena said as she turned off the lights.

"good night Eunsang..." Tia Helena said as she closed the door.

"good night" Eunsang muttered as closed his eyes. He then opened his eyes quickly as he heard Tia Helena's footsteps getting farther.

he got up and got out a flashlight he hid under his pillow, he then leaned his ear into the floor to hear if anyone was walking on the halls, but as he heard no footsteps he then slowly opened the door of his room to see the dark hallways.

Eunsang took a step forward very carefully making sure there were no sounds to be heard at all. as his toes came in contact with the cold floor he felt excitement on his spine and he tiptoed downstairs, witnessing the party going on the mansion. Visitors were dressed in fancy dresses, thick jewelry and everyone was chatting and laughing everywhere.

Everyone seemed to busy having fun to notice the boy.

Eunsang took this moment to quickly run to the back door that leads to the garden. he was beginning to despise the smell his nose witnessed. the smell of liquor.

his nose crunched his head getting kinda dizzy because of the smell but he got himself together anyways.

as Eunsang's bared feet came in touch with the grass, he felt like he was the happiest person alive. he then looked up to see a clear and wider vision of the night sky.
