A little girl was standing alone in the pier.

She was cold and alone.

But her eyes seemed everything was normal.

She smiled brightly as ever, looking at the moon.

She grasp for her Moon-shaped necklace, but ended up grasping for nothing.

It wasn't on her anymore. She forgot it was already far from her reach.

She stood there as she watch the people around her boarding the boat infront of her.

As time passes by, she felt colder and more alone.

But she couldn't help but believe her mother's words of coming back.

She stood there for hours, waiting.

Waiting.

Waiting..

Waiting...

Waiting....

Until The boat was about to leave.

As every passenger boarded the boat.

The girl was left alone in the peir watching the boat leaving.

And there it finally hits her.

She didn't came back.

Her breathing increased.

Her eyes darkened.

But she was trying to smile so bad.

She was desperate for happiness again.

That night.

Nothing was heard but the sounds of the ocean's waves.

And the silent city sounds.

The but the little girl couldn't help but cover her ears.

It was like on that moment everything felt painful.

The way she felt the cold wind from the ocean come contact on her skin. It was painful

The way she was breathing. It was painful

The way her eyes closed. It was painful

The way her tears fell. It was painful

The way she hear the sounds around her, the sounds of the ocean's waves and city cars blending with eachother creating a ringing sound to her ear. It was painful

She couldn't help but runaway.

She knew she was breaking down.

And she hated it.

She promised to herself never to cry.

She promised to herself not to ever break down because she knew she couldn't handle it.

She tried running away from eveything she was feeling but she couldn't,because the pain didn't exactly came from anywhere around her.

It came within her.

Despite her eyes shaking.

Her breath hitching.

Her arm's trembling.

She tried to smile.

Trying to find happiness out of something.

At this point she was finding happiness out of nothing.

She took a look around her.

She didn't know how cold the world really was.

She was only a little child. She was only 6 years old.

But she wanted to see the brightness out of everything.

Even though it seems impossible for her to find it.

At least she could pretend it was something else.

She ran and ran.

Until the ringing sound became louder and louder until it was the only thing she could hear.

Until there was nothing left but the ringing.

To the point she felt it.

Wake up.

-

2:57 AM

Hime woke up and got up quickly.

Eyes wide open.

Breath hitching.

She felt cold.

She hugged herself, trying to control her breathing.

She trembled and shuddered.

Get up. Go to the peir. Get up. Mother's gonna really disappointed you left. You should've stayed on your place. You should have not runaway. What were you so afraid of?

A voice of a little girl echoed inside Hime' head.

Hime then panicked and started looking for her pills.

That wouldn't help. Why are you so afraid of me? Why are you so afraid to sleep?

"Stop it..." Hime spoke with bitterness.

Are you afraid of it being real?

"I said stop it..." Hime muttered to herself, covering her ears.

She then knocked on the wall behind her bed, hoping for her brother to comfort her.

She then forgot he went to sleep with his friends in the party.

She cursed and took her pills with her trembling hands.

I said get up. Go to the peir. Drown yourself, drown yourself in the water. And you'll see mother.

"N-no...w-what are you talking about?"

Drown yourself.

"CUT IT OUT!" Hime shouted as her voice bounced off the walls of her room.

Her thoughts then faded-- No something was wrong, these weren't her thoughts.

Her breathing was the only thing that could only be heard now.

She tried to calm herself, but she couldn't help but tremble and feel more scared.

She  was afraid to hear the voice again

She was afraid to see the voice.

Hime stood up and took a look at herself on the mirror.

For a moment she was afraid of being someone else.

She went back to her bed, afraid.

She got out her phone and tried to call her brother.

The number you have dialed is not available-

Hime cursed under her breath as she tried to call him multiple times.

She then noticed a number on her contacts.
