[Camila's POV]

As much as I hated the sound of it, I was incredibly grateful that Shawn had thought to set an alarm last night so we'd wake up on time. Shawn groaned and reached over to grab his phone, clicking the alarm off before bringing his attention back to me.

"Good morning," he said sleepily. "You look stunning this morning." I smiled sheepishly, knowing full well that my cheeks were surely already blushing from his comment.

"Thanks. You're pretty stunning yourself," I whispered as I placed a quick kiss to his bare chest.

"You know...I think last night may be my favorite Christmas gift I've ever gotten," he said before softly attaching his lips to my neck. "You're gonna have to wear that more often." I hummed quietly in appreciation for the way he gently sucked on the exposed skin at the base of my neck.

"I want to marry you," I mumbled. Shawn snorted and looked up at me.

"Well, that works out well then...huh?"

"No, I mean...like, soon. I want to marry you soon," I corrected myself.

"Okay," he smiled and nodded. "When are you thinking?" His lips carefully attached to the soft skin of my neck once more.

"Hmm...well I don't want a winter wedding...so, April?" I suggested. He smiled and looked up at me.

"We'll get married in April," he confirmed before, yet again, kissing my neck.

"Baby, as much as I would love an encore for last night...we really do need to get up. Our families are going to be here at 10:00 and I still need to get ready and wrap presents." Shawn groaned in annoyance before rolling off of me.

[Shawn's POV]

I couldn't help but laugh when Camila came out of the spare room carrying a stack of presents so big that you couldn't even see her behind them.

"Less laughing, more helping please!" she called out behind the mountain of gifts. I quickly ran over and grabbed the stack from her and placed them in front of the tree. Each gift was covered in colorful pom-poms; I should've known.

Camila squatted down and began to arrange the gifts perfectly beneath the tree, quietly humming along to the Christmas songs that were echoing throughout our house as she did so

Camila squatted down and began to arrange the gifts perfectly beneath the tree, quietly humming along to the Christmas songs that were echoing throughout our house as she did so.

"How about April 17th?" I suggested. She shot me a confused look. "For our wedding day - how about April 17th?" She considered it for a moment before smiling and nodding.

"April 17th it is."

Camila finished arranging the gifts under the tree and headed into the kitchen to make cinnamon rolls for our families. Her timing was impeccable, because as she was pulling them out of the oven our doorbell rang. I quickly went over and opened the door to let our families inside.

Our Christmas morning felt like one out of a fairytale. We all our opened our gifts and somehow, despite only just meeting each other, our families all got each other the perfect gifts. It truly did feel like fate - fate that we were meant to fall in love with each other & fate that our two families were meant to be such close friends.

After a lot of gift opening, eating, and hot cocoa drinking - we all sat around the living room discussing random things about life.

"I keep forgetting that you guys are engaged," Sofi stated out of the blue.

"It's okay, Camila forgets sometimes too." I flashed Camila a fake-annoyed look.

"I accidentally called you my boyfriend one time! No need to whine." Everyone started laughing.

"Speaking of you two being engaged..." my mom spoke up. "Have you thought any more about picking a date?" Camila and I looked at each other and smiled.

"Actually...we picked a date this morning!" Camila said excitedly.

"You did? Oh, that's so exciting! When?" Sinu asked.

"April 17th."

"As in...this upcoming April?" my mom questioned. Camila and I nodded. "Oh boy, well then! We're going to have to get planning! April is right around the corner and it takes a while to plan a wedding."

Unsurprisingly, the conversation quickly turned to wedding planning, with both of our mothers asking various questions about venues, guests, colors, dresses & menus.

"I guess I really haven't thought much about the details...or even really the big things. We just decided the date this morning so we haven't really had time to decide on anything else," Camila explained. "Besides, I don't think either of us want some huge, extravagant wedding." I nodded in agreement.

"Well, regardless of how big or small, it takes several months to plan a wedding - so I'd get on that pretty quickly if I were you two!" my mom chimed in.

Around 5:30 we all decided to watch a Christmas movie. I threw out a few different options, but both Sofi and Aaliyah insisted we watch Elf - so we watched Elf. Camila was snuggled up into my side before the opening credits even started, and less than halfway through the movie she was asleep with her head resting on my chest. I lazily brushed through her curls that were splayed across my chest as I admired my sleeping beauty. As I looked around the room, I couldn't believe that my life had changed so drastically in such a short period of time. I couldn't believe that this level of happiness and contentment could ever be possible - let alone be something I could personally achieve. I leaned down and placed a quick kiss to Camila's forehead, noticing how she smiled softly in her sleep when I did so.

After the movie, we ordered some pizza. My family playfully teased Camila for her choice of pizza toppings.

"It's a shame really...I was really starting to like you! But I don't know that putting pineapple on pizza is something I can forgive..." Aaliyah joked dramatically. Camila smirked.

"You know, there's a few specific moments that stick out in my mind as moments where I knew I was falling in love with Shawn...and one of them has to do with my unique pizza toppings." Everyone gave her a confused look, including myself. "One of the first nights we hung out, Shawn offered to order a pizza. I didn't tell him what I wanted, because honestly when it comes to pizza I'm not picky..." she looked over to me and smiled. "...but when the pizza arrived, half of it was pineapple and jalapeño - just for me. I don't even remember telling him that those were my preferred pizza toppings, but he remembered. It was sweet." Camila smiled sweetly and brought a slice of her unique pizza up to her lips.

"Well that's actually kind of adorable..." Aaliyah admitted.

"Kind of? That's precious," Sofi added. I just smiled at Camila. I had no idea that meant so much to her, but it made me happy to know that such a simple gesture could have such a big impact. I reached over and squeezed her hand.

"To be fair, it's difficult to forget such a heinous pizza order," I added as everyone laughed.
