The Wedding: Part 2

[Camila's POV]

We walked down the aisle as husband and wife, and the moment we were out of our guests' sight we were wrapped up in each other's arms.

"I can't believe you're finally my husband," I whispered into the crook of his neck.

"I can't believe you're finally my wife," he replied. We enjoyed our first moment of marriage privately for a bit before being ushered off by our photographer to get some photos before the reception.

"I can't wait for you to see everything at the reception. I think you're really going to appreciate all the little details," I beamed. Our wedding didn't any specific theme, but I did want it to be authentically us. During my many meetings with our wedding planner I kept mentioning little things that were special to just Shawn and I. In fact, many of our guests would probably not pick up on the sentimental value of the details of our wedding—but I didn't care. This night was for Shawn and I.

After taking pictures, we walked into the large tent while our guests were still enjoying their cocktail hour down by the water. The first thing Shawn noticed was the seating chart and tequila shots at the entrance.

"Seriously?" he said as a huge grin spread across his face

"Seriously?" he said as a huge grin spread across his face. "That's hilarious—it's even the same kind of shot glass!" I laughed at his excitement.

"It is! I figured this would be a fun way for people to find their seats. And who knows, maybe in a couple years we'll be at a wedding for two friends who ended up falling in love because of a couple tequila shots at our wedding." I winked at him as he blushed.

The next thing he noticed was the name cards at every seat—a nod to our favorite pastime and the proposal.

"Scrabble?" he exclaimed as his eyes lit up

"Scrabble?" he exclaimed as his eyes lit up. "Babe, this is so fucking sweet." I smiled and hugged his side.

"I mean I had to have some sort of reference to it. Did you not see the dessert table?" I asked. Shawn quickly turned and looked toward the dessert table across the way.
