[Mild Smut Warning]
[Shawn's POV]
"Are you absolutely sure?" I asked my little sister. "Not because we don't support your decision, but because once you do this...you can't take it back." Aaliyah took a deep breath and glanced between Camila and I before nodding.
"I'm sure. Just thinking about the idea of being seventeen and having to carry a child makes me nauseous...and not just because of the morning sickness," she said. Camila and I glanced at each other before turning back towards Aaliyah.
"Ok," Camila said. "We'll take you to the clinic in a few hours." Aaliyah gratefully hugged us both before heading back into the guest room. I helped my wife clean up the table from our lunch, wrapping my arms around her and hugging her from behind as she cleaned a few dishes.
"You're really great with her," I said before quickly kissing her cheek. "I know this is all really tough for you, but I appreciate you being so supportive of her." I heard her sniffle quietly before responding to me with a wavering voice.
"Shawn, I don't think I can go..." She turned around to face me. "I really do want to be there to support her, but I don't think I could be there without breaking down and I don't want her to think I'm upset with her." I sighed and tried to think of a plan.
"Okay, I'll just tell her you're not feeling well. I'm sure she'll be okay with just me taking her." I gently kissed her again before continuing to help her clean up.

A few hours passed and I was getting ready to take Aaliyah to the clinic. I grabbed an old hoodie out of the closet and pulled it over my head before turning to see Camila curled up on the bed watching me.
"It's just a hoodie and some sweatpants, Mila. There's really no need to stare...or am I really just that entertaining?" I joked as I walked over to her side of the bed and sat on the edge.
"Well, first of all, I would happily stare at you no matter what you were wearing. And second of all, you could do literally anything and I'd find it entertaining," she replied with a slight chuckle. I was happy to see that despite the circumstances she was still in a jokey mood.
"Damn. See? That's how I know it's true love," I said before leaning down to kiss her. Her hand reached up to lightly cup my cheek as we kissed, letting her lips linger for a bit longer. "Are you sure you're gonna be okay here?" I asked after reluctantly disconnecting our lips. She nodded.
"Yeah. Actually, I think I might take a bath."
"That sounds like a good plan," I said as I carefully brushed a stray strand of hair away from her face. "You deserve a little relaxation time to yourself."
I quickly put my shoes on and gave my wife another quick kiss before walking out into the living room. Aaliyah was already waiting on the couch watching old Friends reruns when I got out there.
"Hey, Mila isn't feeling too well so is it okay if just I take you?" She seemed a little disappointed, but was still fine with the idea of just me accompanying her.
"Yeah, sure," she said before getting up off the couch and following me out to the car. The drive was silent for the most part. I couldn't imagine the myriad of thoughts that must've been running through her mind.
"How are you feeling?" I finally asked to break the silence. She thought for a second before replying.
"Anxious...but mainly just in a 'anxious to get it over with' kind of way." I guess that made sense. I'm sure the actual process of getting an abortion isn't the most pleasant, but I couldn't even begin to imagine the weight that would be lifted off her shoulders once it was over. I pulled into the small parking lot outside the clinic and managed to find an empty spot right near the front door.
