"What did you just say?" My voice was full of outrage and shock at what this idiot had just said. He was obviously a jock-type from one of the local public schools.
"I said that you should take that blue freak away to the circus or something. He definitely doesn't belong here!"
"Apologize, now." I knew that my boyfriend already felt bad enough about himself without people like this giving him a hard time, and the circus comment would have brought up bad memories.
"Yeah princess? Or what?"
"Don't call me that, only he calls me that. Now apologize ."
"Why don't you come over here and make me?"
"So you see, Professor," I said from Kurt's arms, having given up on trying to convince him to put me down, "I had to teach him a lesson... But hey, I did it without using my powers! That's good, right...?"
