66. "I've loved you since the first moment I saw you. And I'll love you until my last."
Blinking awake slowly, Peter tried to recall the details of his dream. At his side, his girlfriend slept peacefully. They had gotten an apartment together after graduating high school, and now Peter couldn't imagine his life without her.
Pieces of the dream were resurfacing. A white dress, a preacher, and... Peter smiled to himself. It had been a wedding. Their wedding.
Now there was a thought... Maybe after college, they could settle down.
A snippet of his vows drifted through Peter's mind.
"I've loved you since the first moment I saw you... and I'll love you until my last."
Gently, brushing a strand of hair from her face, he kissed her forehead. Not yet... But someday, his dream would come true.
