Peter always knew you didn't mean it, but he would never resist the chance to explain to you exactly why he loved the music he did. That was half of why you gave him a hard time about it, after all. It made you happy to see him happy and passionate about something.
Oh yeah, he liked to pretend it was such an ordeal for him, but he secretly liked it. So, every once in a while, you'd lovingly start the playful argument:
"Babe, you gotta listen to something new for once..."
