It was a Saturday so all of the people in Soobin's house were out, the brothers hungout with their friends, his mum hungout with hers and his stepdad also probably hungout with his. Seeing that Yeonjun didn't seem in the state to go out and have fun, Soobin invited him in. Soobin noticed that Yeonjun was holding what seemed to be a picnic basket and felt worse about having unknowingly ignored Yeonjun the whole morning. Soobin offered to carry it but was refused.

They walked into the house and Soobin directly led Yeonjun to his own room because it was the only place in the house where he truly felt 'at home.'

"It's a beautiful house," Yeonjun commented as he followed Soobin up the stairs.

"Hm~ it's an okay house, I guess. It's my family I can't stand," Soobin muttered, raising curiosity within Yeonjun though he chose to stay quiet about it as it seemed to annoy Soobin.

Yeonjun felt slightly strange at the fact that they had gone directly to Soobin's bedroom instead of the living room or sitting area but again, decided to shut up about it. Soobin gestured Yeonjun to go in first and by habit, Soobin closed the door behind himself, only realizing how awkward the whole situation was afterwards.

Yeonjun was awkwardly stood. "Have a seat," Soobin said gestering around to his bed. Yeonjun sat down on the bed. Seeing that his chair was littered with clothes after the morning's fiasco and having no other option, Soobin too, sat on the bed, besides Yeonjun, increasing the awkward sexual tension that had been around ever since Soobin had first asked Yeonjun in into the house.

After a short awkward silence, Soobin realized that he still hadn't told Yeonjun the full story of the morning, Soobin explained to Yeonjun why he hadn't been replying to Yeonjun that morning and once again apologized. Yeonjun listened attentively and assured Soobin that an apology wasn't really needed as it was a simple mistake that could've been made by anyone. "It's cute how you were *that* excited," Yeonjun chuckled.

Yeonjun fell back, now lying on the bed, "Man as much as I'd really like to go have our picnic in the park, I'm like, really tired, for some reason.

Soobin looked at Yeonjun who had now closed his eyes, "It's really alright, we can just do it some other day"

"Do what?" Yeonjun asked, opening one eye and looking at Soobin.

"The picnic, dammit!" Soobin wailed as heat rose to his cheeks.

Yeonjun chuckled.

"Speaking of picnic, did you bring food or something?" Soobin asked, pointing to the picnic basket which had been set on the floor besides the door.

"Yeah, isn't that what a picnic means? You bring food to eat outdoors?"

"Yeah, but I thought we'd just be buying some food or something on the way," Soobin replied.

"Hmm~ I guess we could've done that too," Yeonjun said nonchalantly.

Getting up, Yeonjun exclaimed, "Homemade is special though, you know!"

"Your mum made it?"

"Even better, I did," Yeonjun said, evidently proud.

"Ohhh, you cook?" Soobin was impressed.

"Sure, I do," Yeonjun replied with a smirk.

"Well, we can't let it go to waste, let's eat then!" Soobin said, standing up to get the basket and getting surprised at how heavy it was. "I can't believe he brought this all the way from his home, wow," Soobin thought to himself.

Opening the basket Soobin saw a wide variety of food: fried chicken, some mangosteens, fruit sandwiches and a few drinks too. "Woah~ why'd you bring so many drinks though?"

"I really don't know what drink you like," Yeonjun said, scratching the back of his head.

Soobin felt touched.

"We don't have to eat it, you know. I mean, it's probably not that good anyway. Plus, on a sunny day like this one, you probably shouldn't be eating food that's been left out for so long," Yeonjun said in an as-a-matter-of-fact manner.

"Oh shut up, if you don't want to eat then don't, but don't think I'm going to let all your hard work go to waste. I really can't believe you made so much variety too, ahh~ I'm going to enjoy this meal!"

"Okay, okay, pass me the utensils too," Yeonjun gave in, pleased at Soobin's enthusiasm towards the food.

Soobin took the first bite of the food and was surprised at how good it tasted, "Ah~ Yeonjunieee marry me and feed me this kind of food every day, I love you so much," Soobin said, practically crying.

Slightly taken aback but knowing that it was a reaction invoked by the food and not by himself in particular, Yeonjun decided to tease Soobin, "Oh, so you love me, huh? Then c'mon feed me, ahhh~" Yeonjun opened his mouth and closed his eyes, turning to Soobin and waiting.

Soobin looked at Yeonjun and caught up in the moment, he slowly, lightly kissed Yeonjun's lip, only realizing his actions after he'd done it, then quickly stepped away, his eyes wide open, just like Yeonjun's had become.
