After completing the movie, their cocoa, and a few bags of chips, Soobin continued scrolling through the movie selections to choose the next one while Yeonjun stretched and let his body fall back on the soft mattress.

"Hyung, what do you want to watch next?"

Yeonjun only hummed in reply as he lifted his head to see the screen and let his eyes wonder about the screen.

Soobin pouted, "Nothing looks interesting."

"Nothing really does," Yeonjun agreed, sitting up but letting his body lean on Soobin's.

"How about some YouTube?"

"Sure!"

Soobin opened up YouTube, his homepage littered with a certain YouTuber's videos.

"Your favorite YouTuber?"

"Yeah, he's so funny. Hyung, do you want to watch his videos? You'll love them," Soobin gushed excitedly.

Yeonjun smiled, "Of course, that'll be great fun!"

And so for the an hour or two, the boys binge-watched videos from Soobin's favorite YouTuber, holding on to each other in bursting laughter, enjoying themselves.

It was after their fifth 30-minute video when Yeonjun softly yawned.

"Tired? We could nap, Hyung," Soobin softly said, yawning too.

"That'd be nice," Yeonjun peaked out the curtains to see a darkened sky, "It's already dark out."

Soobin reached for the curtains and opened them a bit, looking out, "The stars are beautiful tonight."

"Would you like to go out and see them?"

"Yes!"

And so both of them went out to the balcony and settled themselves on the wooden seats, draping a thick blanket on themselves as they looked up at the clear dark sky, a few stars visible.

"You can rarely see the stars from here, today must be a special night," Soobin breathed as he looked at the sky along with the city skyline, littered with several light sources from shops, house windows as well as the bright streetlights.

"It really must be," Yeonjun replied softly, his eyes only on the younger besides him. To Yeonjun, Soobin's eyes were beautiful and sparkly, more than any star in the sky.

There was a comforting silence between the boys as they took in their view. Slowly the city too, became quieter as people closed their shops, headed back home from their jobs and it became colder as the city shifted to a more relaxed atmosphere.

"Hyung, I had a lot of fun today."

"Me too, Binnie. I had a lot of fun too. Thank you so much," Yeonjun let his eyes wander to the younger again as he smiled to himself.

"Thank you too, Hyung," Soobin too, turned his gaze to the older, only to meet his eyes, "Hyung, your eyes look teary, are you alright? Is it the cold?"

"It's because I'm so happy today," Yeonjun smiled wider, eyes turning into crescents as a drop of tear escaped from his right eyes.

"Hyung," Soobin reached to wipe away the tear, "Hyung, you're so precious."

Yeonjun's face scrunched up as he tried not to cry, "Thank you, Binnie. You're the one who makes me so," Yeonjun tried to chuckle but his eyes only looked sad to the younger.

Soobin looked at the older, not knowing how to feel. In their days together, Yeonjun had usually, if not always, looked surely, happy and confident, the kind of person Soobin wanted to be. But today, the older seemed to be inexplicably sad, today, he looked weak, helpless and poorly.

Soobin engulfed the older into a hug, "Hyung?"

"Hmm?"

"Are you sad today?"

"Why would you think so?"

"As the day has gone by, I know it's been fun for the both of us but..."

"But...?"

"You seem sad today," Soobin pushed away from the hug and looked into the older's eyes which were sparkly with tears.

"Oh, I'm really not," Yeonjun smiled though it only looked sad to Soobin.

"Liar," Soobin pouted.

Yeonjun grinned stupidly at the cute younger, "Really not."

"You're looking sadder as the time goes by. Is something bothering you? You know you can tell me."

Yeonjun stopped to think for a brief moment, his eyes scanning the younger's face, staring at the younger's beautiful black orbs, into his soul.

"I'm sad the day is ending," Yeonjun confessed.

"There's always a next time, Hyung," Soobin pulled the older into another hug.

"A next time," Yeonjun sighed wearily, "Yes, of course."

There was another brief silence as the boys took in the others' warmth in the cold night, the blanket now already fallen off of their shoulders.

"I had the best time today, Hyung."

Yeonjun slowly pulled away from the hug, a warm smile on his face, "Really?"

"Yes."

"Do you think it'll be your best birthday ever?"

"My best birthday ever?"

"Yeah, It's past midnight now, it's your birthday today, isn't it?"

Soobin smiled to himself, feeling overwhelmingly loved to know that the elder knew it was his birthday.

"Just a minute, I'll be right back," Yeonjun got up, draped the blanket on the younger's shoulders and went back into Soobin's room.

Soobin leaned from his chair to peak inside his now dark room, only to see Yeonjun emerge with a tiny brown cake with intricate white detailing, the single candle on it was lighting up his face and his now faded blue hair.

"Happy Birthday, Binnie," Yeonjun softly said as a happy tear slid off of Soobin's cheek.
