Soon, the teacher arrived and began teaching, the three maknaes tried waking up Yeonjun but left him be when the older just wouldn't get up. The teacher didn't notice the sleeping Yeonjun so the boys decided there was no real issue with it.

As soon as class ended, Beomgyu and Kai began pestering Yeonjun to wake him up when Beomgyu's phone rang.

"It's Soobin-hyung," Beomgyu said to Kai and Taehyun before answering.

"Hello?"

"Hi Gyu."

"Hey, hyung. Do you feel better?"

"I guess... but the bruise still looks as bad as ever."

"Hyung, did you go home?"

"No, there's only one-"

"Your parents didn't come to pick you up, right?"

"What? W-Why...Why would you think that?"

"I don't know. Yeonjun-hyung said something about your parents probably not being able to pick you up or something." At this, Taehyun hit Beomgyu's arm, mouthing a "Don't say that."

"What? Hyung did?"

"I mean, Junnie-hyung just asked what would happen if your parents didn't come to pick you up."

Soobin wondered how Yeonjun had known but shook it off. "He probably asked just out of curiosity and not because he knew," Soobin concluded in his head.

"What's Hyung doing right now, Beomgyu?"

"He's actually sleeping..."

"Sleeping?"

"Yeah."

"In class?"

"I don't know, he said he felt tired so..."

Soobin blinked his eyes in confusion, he knew the older was always diligent and paid a lot of attention during class.

"Is Hyung alright?"

"Yeah, he just woke up haha," Beomgyu watched Yeonjun as the older rubbed his eyes and stretched.

"Is that Soobinnie on the phone?" Soobin heard Yeonjun ask Beomgyu.

"Can I talk to him?"

Beomgyu's voice returned to the phone, "Hyung, Yeonjun-hyung wants to talk to you. Can I hand him the phone?"

Soobin wondered if he should allow it. He didn't know what to do, he had so easily pushed the older away back at the infirmary but now had no clue what he wanted. "I wonder if Hyung is mad at me for that... I know I shouldn't have done it. He's going to ask me why I did that and I'll have to answer... I don't want to talk to him at all," Soobin's mind raced in anxiety, unsure of what to do.

When Soobin didn't answer, Beomgyu spoke again, "Soobin-hyung? You there?"

"Yeah, give the phone to Hyung," Soobin blurted out, facepalming himself but also wanting to talk to the older, Soobin had missed Yeonjun.

"Hi Binnie," Yeonjun's soft, raspy voice hit Soobin's ears, making the younger tear up at how sweet the older sounded, not a bit of anger in his voice. Soobin was drowning in guilt, feeling exceptionally remorseful for having said all the harsh words to the older.

"Hey Hyung," Soobin replied in a small voice, his lips tugging upwards in a soft smile though the guilt and regret in his heart was tearing him to shreds.

"Are you alright, Binnie...? Does it hurt a lot?"

"The pain has lessened, I'm alright," Soobin smiled to himself, though eyes still teary.

"Hyung is really sorry, okay?"

"No Hyung, why would you apologize? You didn't do anything."

"Thank you for being so nice to me, Soobinnie. Next time I hope I can do something to protect you instead of being the one causing you the pain."

"No, Hyung. It's alright, I..." Soobin trailed off, not knowing if he really should continue or not.

Yeonjun patiently waited but spoke up after a couple of seconds had passed, "You...?"

"I'm sorry for saying all those mean things to you at the infirmary, Hyung."

"No, it's alright. It's alright for you to feel angry at me, Bin-"

"I wasn't angry, Hyung."

"You weren't...?"

Soobin took a deep breath, not knowing if he could live with telling the older the actual reason behind his actions.

When Soobin didn't say anything, Yeonjun spoke again, "Did you go home, Binnie?"

Soobin snapped out of his daze and answered, "No."

"Can I walk you home then?"

Soobin got out of the infirmary bed and walked to the mirror on the wall which was hung over the wash basin, turning his face left and right to see how bad it was.

"Binnie?"

"Yeah, Hyung?!" Soobin blushed, he hadn't realized that he was so lost worrying about his reflection that he'd left the older unanswered.

"Binnie, you don't have to if you don't want to."

"No, Hyung, it's nothing like that," Soobin quickly replied, feeling bad about it instantly.

"Oh no no, I just don't want you to be pressured, you know. I understand if it's slightly odd being seen with me, especially since they're bullying you because of me..."

"Oh Hyung, I-"

"Yeah?"

Soobin took a deep breath, "Yeah, hyung. I'll go home by myself today."

The small smile on Yeonjun's face was wiped off but he maintained the calm of his voice, "Oh alright, Binnie. Take care of yourself though, okay? And call me when you reach home."

Soobin looked up and locked eyes with his reflection, hating himself for deciding to turn the older's offer down.

"Don't worry about it though, Binnie. I'll ask for the same favor tomorrow too! Just go home and rest well, only after calling me once of course!"

Soobin smiled, he was in absolute awe at how sweet the older could be, "Bye, Hyung..."

"Bye, Binnie."

"I love you, Hyung," Soobin cut the call before the older could respond.
