There was a hike scheduled for the next day and the boys complained as they walked to breakfast.

"I'm so tired already wow, imagine me after the hike," Beomgyu commented as he stepped into the hotel elevator, stifling a yawn.

"It'll leave me dead!" Kai complained, following the older in.

"It's not going to be too exhausting, is it? C'mon guys you guys are over-exaggerating," Yeonjun chuckled walking in, followed by Taehyun and Soobin.

"Yeah, it might be fun. In the nature and everything," Soobin added, pressing the button to the ground floor as they all were now in.

"Gyu will talk about being tired but once the hike starts, his competitive ass is going to drag me along at the front," Taehyun remarked, earning a pout from Beomgyu and chuckles from the rest of them.

And right Taehyun was. As soon as the boys reached the Namsan Park, Beomgyu urged the boys to walk faster as to not get left behind. As Soobin, Yeonjun and Kai chose to take it slow, it wasn't long before Taehyun and Beomgyu were way farther ahead of them while the three of them were near the end of the crowd of students with a few others.

"Okay but why are they making us use this route, it's so steep and tiring," Kai complained between heavy breaths.

"The weather isn't helping either," Yeonjun added, referring to the bright sunny sky with almost no clouds.

"But the view is worth it at least. Look at all the trees and flowers here," Soobin happily chirped as he crouched to take a picture of a flower on the ground.

"Hyung, we're literally going to get left behind," Kai chuckled, though waiting for the older anyway.

"We can run to catch up." Soobin smiled, flashing a thumbs-up.

As Soobin got up and the three boys took a selfie, two classmates passed them by, one of which seemed to be struggling to walk steady.

As the three boys got back on track with the hike, the boy in front of them suddenly fell towards his friend and Yeonjun quickly stepped forward to catch the boy.

"Hey, are you alright?"

"Huh? Yeah, I-" the boy mumbled helplessly as Yeonjun slowly seated him on a rock.

"Water? You want water, Onwoo?" The boy's friend asked him.

"Y-Yeah please, Wooteok."

The boy who seemed to be called Wooteok took off his backpack and rummaged through it to find a water bottle only to see it empty, "Oh shit!"

Soobin who was watching from the sideline quickly took out his own bottle from his backpack and offered it to Onwoo, "Hey, here you go."

The boy weakly smiled before taking the bottle and drinking the water. After a bit of rest, he seemed to be better and the two boys, Onwoo and Wooteok walked along with Soobin, Yeonjun and Kai.

The five boys walked under the warm sun together, Kai and Wooteok chattering in the front with Yeonjun quietly following and with Soobin and Onwoo walking alongside each other in silence behind.

Suddenly Onwoo spoke up, "You know, I never thought you'd be the type to help someone like that."

Soobin looked at the boy in surprise, "Hey, why not?"

The boy broke out into a sheepish smile, "I don't know. I guess we all expected you to be like, really full of yourself since you're tall and pretty?"

"Thanks?"

"Turns out you're nice a nice guy though, aren't you?"

"I'm just an okay guy, honestly. Not full of myself or anything but not too nice either," Soobin replied with a shy smile.

"Anyway, thanks for helping me out, yeah? I appreciate it."

"You're welcome."
