As Kai went back to flipping through the album, Soobin still felt uneasy because of the Yeonjun situation.

"Hyung."

"Hmm?" Soobin snapped out of his daze.

"You're still worked up over that, right? The Yeonjun-hyung coincidence thing?"

Soobin blinked at the younger's back since the younger was flipping through the album and had his back to the older.

"I mean... kind of?"

Kai sighed, "Hyung, you ever heard of soulmates?"

"Yeah!"

Kai turned around to face the older, "Do you believe in them?"

Soobin face turned light pink, "I mean... yes? It's just such a cute concept and you know, I just think it's cool and all."

"It's alright, Hyung. I believe in it too," Kai smiled.

"Oh," Soobin breathed, smiling back.

Kai took a deep breath before continuing, "Maybe Junnie-hyung's your soulmate then."

"Yeonjun-hyung...?" Soobin unintentionally glowed at the possibility and Kai watched as the older's face lit up.

"Yeah."

"No...?"

"Oh c'mon Hyung, why not! It would explain how conveniently Jun-hyung entered your life too!"

Soobin couldn't help but smile at the possibility but tried not to get ahead of himself, "But..."

"But?"

"Hyung is too good for me, you know that," Soobin's smile suddenly looked a whole lot sadder and it broke Kai's heart to see how little the older thought of himself.

"Oh c'mon Hyung, yeah Yeonjun-hyung is a great guy but hey, so are you!"

"Yeah but Yeonjun-hyung, he's just something else, you know?"

Kai pursed his lips, "We get it, you're in love with him but you don't have to put him at such a high pedestal?"

"I-I'm not in love with him!"

Kai gave Soobin an unimpressed look.

"Really!"

"Sure, Hyung."

"No but really, I'm not-I'm not in love with him."

"Alright alright."

"I'm not."

"Yes, I understood," Kai replied with a smile before adding, "He's still your soulmate, I bet."

"Nope."

"Yup."

"Whatever, Kai," Soobin rolled his eyes playfully.

"So, did you go to the place you wanted to go to with Jun-hyung yesterday?" Kai asked as he went back to flipping through the other albums.

"Uh... yeah? No?"

"Yes or no, Hyung," Kai asked with a chuckle.

"No, we were supposed to go today-RIGHT! Where is Hyung anyway, he said he'd be here today evening and it's evening... but he's not here? Why?"

Kai awkwardly looked at the older, "I don't know...?"

"He said he'd be here," Soobin whined.

Kai chuckled, "Just call him up once, Hyung. Even though he's probably on his way right now or something."

"Oh right, I should call him up," Soobin whipped out his phone and was about to make the call when he heard the doorbell ring.

Soobin's head perked up at the sound.

"It must be him!" Kai exclaimed as he watched the older's face light up.

"Right!"

Both boys ran to the window, looked down at the door and sure enough, they saw the familiar blue of the boy's hair, bobbing his head as he waited for someone to answer the door.

"Hey, Jun-hyung!" Kai called out.

"Hi, Hyung," Soobin too, greeted.

Yeonjun looked up, "Hi guys!"

"Wait Hyung, we'll be right there," Kai said to Yeonjun before dragging Soobin away from the window and down the stairs.

As the boys reached downstairs they saw that Soobin's mother had answered the door.

Soobin's mother invited Yeonjun in but Yeonjun replied with a "I think we're going to be heading out but thank you, Mrs. Choi."

"Yeah Mum, we're going out," Soobin said.

"But mum was just bringing snacks and tea for you guys," She gestured to the table where there was a tray with two cups of tea and two slices of cake.

"I'm so sorry mum but we got to go, right Hyung?" Soobin awkwardly asked, glancing at the older.

"You could go after tea, honey."

"Is that fine, Hyung?" Soobin turned to Yeonjun.

"Of course!"

"You guys go up with that tray and I'll bring some more for Yeonjun, alright boys?" Soobin's mother said, turning to go back to the kitchen.

"Oh no, Mrs. Choi, I was just about to go home. Yeonjun-hyung can have my bit," Kai quickly said, going near the door and taking his shoes from the shelf.

"Oh no, I could just bring some more for Yeonjun, dear," Soobin's mother interjected.

"Yeah, stay for tea at least, Kai," Yeonjun added.

"Uh...would that be fine...?"

"Of course! C'mon guys, let's go," Soobin said in a huff as he took the tray and marched upstairs, followed by a humming Yeonjun and a beaming Kai.
