The hike had left the boys exhausted as they returned to their room that night and were quick to fall asleep. It was an early night but they needed it, the next day they had to wake up early to go watch the sun-rise.

After Soobin's alarm started beeping at 4, the boys hurriedly put on their warm sweaters as they rushed to the hotel lobby to meet their peers to go to the sunrise viewing point, the Gameunsa temples.

The sunrise was beautiful and the boys took pictures together as keepsake.

As soon as the boys reached their hotel room after breakfast, they all fell back asleep. The rest of the day was free for self-exploring and they decided to go out later in the day after they all got their well-deserved rest.

It was about 2 pm when the boys slowly woke up from their deep slumber. By 3, they had all freshened up and were ready to go out to get something to eat.

As the five boys walked the streets of Gyeongju, Taehyun reminded, "Remember guys, if you see some place you might want to eat at, point it out."

It was a while before Kai pointed out a restaurant which seemed to be a curry house, "Guys, don't you think some curry would be real good right now?"

The five boys checked out the menu outside the establishment and made up their minds. As they entered the place, Beomgyu said, "You guys grab a place to sit while I go place the orders, just tell me what you want."

"It might be hard to memorize all out orders, I'll come along too," Yeonjun offered.

"Oh alright,' Beomgyu replied with a smile.

Beomgyu and Yeonjun noted what the others wanted and rushed to the counter, chanting the orders in their heads. As Kai scanned the place he pointed to a corner of the room, "Guys, want to sit there next to the pretty window with decorations?"

"Sure," Soobin replied.

"Fine by me too," Taehyun said.

As Taehyun sat on the chair near the window, Soobin took the seat opposite and Kai sat next to Soobin.

"What a prettily decorated place, let's take pictures here later," Kai said, looking around.

Taehyun hummed in reply.

"Soobin-hyung?" Kai noticed that Soobin had started to get pale and looked like he was spacing out, "Hyung, are you alright?"

Taehyun too, looked up from his phone to see Soobin looking unwell, "Hyung?"

Suddenly, a tear ran down Soobin's face.

"Hyung?" Kai was in a panic and tried to make the older face him, the older in turn let his body fall towards the younger and Kai engulfed him in a hug.

"Hyung? What happened?" Kai could feel the older trembling in his arms.

Soobin held tightly to the younger, as he struggled to speak, "Kai, g-get me out of here."

Kai could feel the elder's tears on his shirt and slowly stood up, "Let's go to the washroom, alright?"

Taehyun helped Kai to get Soobin up.

"I'll save the place for us and let Yeonjun-hyung and Gyu know what happened," Taehyun said to Kai, sitting back down.

Kai nodded and rushed Soobin to the restrooms.

In the washroom, Soobin slowly washed his face as Kai watched concerned.

"You know, I've been here before," Soobin said, using the sink to keep himself steady.

"Here?"

"I'm sorry for worrying you, Kai," Soobin met eyes with Kai in the mirror, "I came to Gyeongju, to this exact restaurant quite a few years ago with my parents and they ended up fighting... right there in the seat near the window."

"Oh no, Hyung, I'm so sorry, I didn't know-"

"No no, it's not your fault. It's alright, I'm okay now. It's just that when I sat there, suddenly I felt like I could see it happen all over again, what happened back then," a tear escaped Soobin's eye.

"Hyung," Kai went to Soobin and gave the older a hug.

"Thanks, Kai. I appreciate it a lot," Soobin ruffled the younger's hair and wrapped his arms around him.

"Hyung, I wish there was something I could do to ease your hurt..."

"Don't worry, Kai. You being here for me is more than I could ever ask for."

Yeonjun, who had rushed to the washroom as soon as he'd heard of Soobin looking ill, watched the two from the door. Instantly ducking behind the wall, Yeonjun looked up and put a hand on his eyes as hot tears began forming in them, "It should've been me... if only it could be me."
