Beep Beep
Soobin's alarm woke him up, it was Monday morning, which meant school."I don't want to go to school," Soobin complained to himself as he dragged his body out of bed and got ready for school.
Soobin took a mini-carton of milk and a piece of cream bun as he walked out of his house, heading to school. As Soobin walking the streets, he thought about the project with Yoonho, Soobin was dreading it.
"I really don't want to face him again... I don't understand why he picked on me. Yeonjun and I aren't even that close. Yeonjun has other friends besides me too, why did he only pick on me...I mean, I don't want Kai, Taehyun and Beomgyu to be bullied like that too... but, but like, why me?"
As unpleasant thoughts crowded Soobin's mind, he grew more and more upset.Soobin thought of his old bullies, the guys who had bullied him at his last school. Was Soobin really that easy to pick on? Did Soobin really only deserve cruelty? Soobin grew duller, nearing to tears.
As Soobin continued growing miserable, he heard a familiar voice call out to him, a voice that instantly made him feel better, a voice that reminded him that even he was deserving of receiving and giving love.
"Hey Soobinnie," a voice called out to Soobin from behind. Soobin turned to greet the owner of the voice, Yeonjun.
"What's up? Why is my Soobinnie sad today?" Yeonjun asked, taking the carton of milk from Soobin's hand and taking a sip.
"Hi, hyung. I don't want English class to happen today, really."
"Yoonho?"
Soobin nodded.
"Why are you drinking almond milk?" Yeonjun made a face and handed the carton back to Soobin.
Soobin just looked at the carton returned to him, tying to ignore the fact that Yeonjun has just had an indirect kiss with him.
After getting no reply from Soobin, Yeonjun peered at Soobin's face and softly whispered, "It'll be alright, Binnie. I swear hyung will protect you before things go too far like last time."
Soobin snapped back to reality, "Hyung will protect me...? Oh yeah, Yoonho Yoonho." Soobin tried not to get flustered and instead focused his attention on his food, eating the bread but not being able to drink from the same straw as Yeonjun had.
"I believe in you Soobin, I know you'll be able to manage."
Soobin, at a loss for words only just flashed a small smile at Yeonjun, his cheeks full.
"Our Soobinnie is so cute," Yeonjun cooed, lightly pinching Soobin's cheeks with his hand.
Soobin choked on his bread, covering his mouth as he coughed.
"Are you alright? Ahh!" Yeonjun panicked.
Yeonjun didn't know what he was supposed to do.
"Drink the milk, damnnit."
Soobin obliged, though still feeling overwhelmed about the indirect kiss.
When Soobin had swallowed his food and was back to normal again, Yeonjun, gesturing towards the carton of milk, cheekily commented, "We just had an indirect kiss."
Soobin's cheeks grew red hot as he watched Yeonjun skip into the gates of school, merry after having teased Soobin.
"Does that mean it made Yeonjun happy or...?" Soobin asked himself, confused.
