"Soobin-hyung, you alright?"

Soobin opened his eyes to see Kai looking at him with worry in his eyes.

Soobin lifted his head and looked around as his eyes adjusted to the now dark room.

"Yeah, I'm alright."

Soobin saw that Beomgyu and Taehyun were sleeping on the bed, tangled in each other's limbs and Yeonjun too, was asleep, leaning towards the wall which the table was attached to.

"They're all still asleep," Kai said in a whisper.

"Ohhh," Soobin nodded.

Kai, who had been standing went back to the bed and sat down, though still facing Soobin, "Did you have a bad dream, Hyung?"

Soobin's head was instantly filled with the details of his dream, the happenings flooding in into his head, one by one.

"Kai, is it late already?"

"Late? I mean, it's 8 PM... if that's late."

"Oh..."

"Why, Hyung? Is there anywhere you've got to go or something?"

Soobin looked at the sleeping Yeonjun, wondering who in the world the dude actually was. If he remembered meeting the older, why didn't the older remember him? Or was the older hiding something from him...

"Soobin-hyung?"

"Oh yeah... I-I mean, no, not really."

"Oh alright," the younger gave a scrutinizing look to the older.

Soobin awkwardly smiled.

There was a moment's silence before Kai spoke up again, "Hyung, tomorrow's a Saturday so do you want to hangout or something?"

"Hangout?"

"Yeah, I heard there's this new café that's opened up and that their food is amazing!"

"Oh, really? That's nice," Soobin gave a small smile.

"So, Hyung, want to go together?"

"When?"

"Tomorrow?" Kai asked perkily.

"Tomorrow...?"

"Yeah," Kai smiled big, sure that the older was about to accept.

"Oh tomorrow..."

Kai's smile dropped, "Hyung, do you have any plans or something...?"

"Oh, no. No, I don't."

The smile on Kai's face reappeared.

"But..."

"But?"

"There's somewhere I want to go with Yeonjun-hyung so I think I'm going to ask him to come with me tomorrow."

"Ah, Yeonjun-hyung," Kai's smile turned awkward and forced.

Soobin just nodded awkwardly.

There was a brief silence before Kai spoke up again, "Can I come too?"

Soobin glanced at the younger who was giving pleading eyes, Soobin didn't know how to tell the younger that what he wanted to do was to go to a park from his childhood and check if he and Yeonjun had met before, only just because a dream seemed to be pointing to that. Soobin thought about what to say to the younger, he couldn't just tell the younger about the dream, it would sound so dumb!

"Uhhh..."

"No?" Kai's expression dropped and he was pouting.

"Oh it's just that..."

"That...? Hyung, you do know that you can tell me if you don't want me to come along, right? Like, it's not that deep," Kai laughed, though it was obviously faked.

"I mean, it's like... uhh like, it's just that..."

Kai's heart dropped at how the older didn't even deny that it wasn't as though the older didn't want him around. But knowing that he was making the older feel weird, he found his voice and spoke, "Wait, tomorrow's Saturday, right? Oh! My bad! I have my own plans too. Oops."

"Ah," Soobin smiled.

There was another awkward silence.

"So... what plans do you have?" Soobin asked hesitantly.

"Oh, just a random uh... café date with uhh... a friend."

"Just a friend or...?"

"Just a friend, Hyung!"

"Ah cool, cool."

"What about you, Hyung? What're you and Yeonjun-hyung planning for tomorrow?"

"Oh just hanging out at this one park," Soobin gave an awkward smile.

"So a date!"

Soobin didn't answer and only gave an awkward smile.

There was yet another silence and the boys watched as Beomgyu stirred in his sleep.

Kai yawned.

Soobin followed.

"Hyung," Kai suddenly asked in a more timid but serious voice than usual.

"Yeah?" Soobin answered, trying to act nonchalant but freaking out internally because of the seriousness in the younger's tone.

"Do you..."

Soobin's heart raced with anxiety. Every time someone called to him in such a serious manner, he couldn't help but momentarily get worked up about it.

"Do I...?"

"Do you... Do you like Jun-hyung?"

Soobin averted his eyes from the younger but didn't answer.

"Hyung? Hyung, it's alright, you don't have to answer. It was a silly question anyway, I'm so sorry, Hyung."

"No, it's... it's alright," Soobin gave a weak smile to the younger but didn't meet his eyes.

Kai nodded back with a tight smile.
