As soon as Yeonjun spoke, the cameras now turned to Yeonjun, however a few people closed theirs and sat back down.

"Kai...?" Yeonjun called out at the younger who just stared back.

"I don't even know what I'm going to say to Yeonjun-hyung if he heard that...I hope he didn't hear that," Kai thought to himself.

Yeonjun could see Soobin curled up on his desk, face looking away. Yeonjun wanted nothing more than to go to the younger, give him a warm hug and console him, perhaps he was crying again. But Yeonjun knew that such an action would only be a temporary answer, the rest of the students were around and seeing Yeonjun's affection towards the younger would only further fuel the bullying.

Yeonjun struggled to keep his eyes off of Soobin as he slowly approached Kai, giving the younger a hug. Kai blinked in surprised, "I guess hyung didn't hear me after all," he said to himself.

"Hmm?" Yeonjun softly asked.

"H-Hyung-"

Kai was interrupted by Beomgyu who hissed at Yeonjun, "Hyung, you take care of Soobin-hyung, Tae and I will take care of NingNing."

"No," Yeonjun firmly said, releasing Kai from the hug but eyes still at Kai, refusing to even look at Soobin.

"Soobinnie-hyung, he's hurt, he was pun-"

Yeonjun's heart stopped at Kai's words but he fought it, interrupting Kai, "What about you? Are you alright?"

Soobin listened from his desk, feeling his heart break at how Yeonjun had ignored him and asked about Kai instead, not even bothering to hear of him.

Beomgyu was patting Soobin's back lightly, asking him if there was anything the younger could do for him, Soobin didn't respond.

"Guys, I swear to God if you all don't put your phones away, I will personally come to you and break it," Taehyun angrily threatened.

The rest of the class who had their phones aimed at them slowly retreated, rolling their eyes and turning back to their friends, but still secretively looking.

"Gyu, let's take Soobin-hyung and go," Taehyun said to Beomgyu.

"Babe, we can't bunk off," Beomgyu nagged.

"It's study hall."

"No it is-" Beomgyu looked at the front board and saw "STUDY HALL" written on the board in big bold letters.

"Okay, let's go," Beomgyu said, fixing his backpack on his shoulder. He then turned back to Soobin and  softly whispered to the older, "Hyung, let's get out of here, get some fresh air or something. Get your wound treated if you're hurt."

"Yeah, hyung. Let's go before it gets worse," Taehyun added, though giving Yeonjun a side eye in the process.

Yeonjun felt guilty, Taehyun's words were ringing in his head, "Soobin-hyung would want you to be there, hyung..."

Yeonjun looked at Kai and enveloped the younger in an embrace again.

"Hyung...?" Kai asked, surprised.

"Is Soobinnie badly hurt?" Yeonjun whispered into the younger's ear, worry lacing his voice as he tried his best not to be heard by the others.

"H-Hyung..." The tears crept back into the younger's eyes, the worry in his voice, the way Yeonjun was slightly shaking in concern, it made Kai tear up. Kai wondered if he'd ever be able to love Soobin as much as Yeonjun did.

A confused murmur went through the rest of the students as they watched a tear spill down Kai's face.

Suddenly, Soobin got up from his seat, his face stoic and expressionless but the bruise forming on his face scarily blue. Beomgyu and Taehyun, along with the rest of the class gasped at how bad the bruise was looking.

Before Beomgyu and Taehyun could say anything, Soobin quickly walked out of the class, the two younger ones immediately following him out.

Yeonjun watched the back of Soobin's head as he left, wondering if Soobin was hurt as badly, hoping he wasn't.

"Did you see that bruise?"

"I know, I can't believe Yoonho hit him that hard."

"Hah! He deserved it!"

The class was chattering away again, Yeonjun clenched his fist in anger, Kai felt the older's body tense against his.

Kai pushed Yeonjun away from the hug, quickly wiping away his tears, "Hyung, go after him."

"What? No, I'll stay with you."

Yeonjun's refusal to go angered Kai, he slapped Yeonjun on the face, "You've already done so much damage, are you going to run away from the consequences now?!"

Yeonjun felt the sharp pain on his left chin which disappeared almost as fast as it came, soon it didn't even feel like he'd been hit just a few seconds ago, the pain had entirely vanished. With this, Yeonjun was reminded again that his body wasn't as alive and sensitive as the others', that it didn't matter what he felt, he was only there to ease Soobin's hurt.

Kai stared at Yeonjun as the older just stood frozen in place.

"K-Kai,"

"Yeah?" Kai immediately felt sorry, the way the older's voice broke, the way older was so near to tears, tore him apart.

"H-Hyung, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean-"

"Kai, what am I supposed to do? How can I be of help? I need to help him, I can't leave him like this..."
