Chapter 4: Club Going Up

Today Was Friday so I let Cameron go to his dad's house and I had plans to go out tonight with Ashley and Shavone.

I was getting ready when Shavone and Ashley came in my room bothering me.

"Hey sister!" Shavone sad sitting on my bed.

"You still not dressed?" Ashley asked sitting on my dresser.

"I would have been if y'all wouldn't keep texting me!" I yelled putting my flannel shirt on the bed.

"Don't you got enough since to ignore us?" Shavone said bouncing on my bed.

"Don't you got enough sense to stop bouncing on my bed? This is not you and Robins bed okay."

"You right this is you and Nayvadious bed."

"Or should we say Future. Why do you call him Nayvadious anyway?

"Okay first of all, you two need to stop it. That road is over and im never going back, second I call him that because he seems to forget who he is when I call him that like he does wheb the world calls him that. Prime example, when he was just Nayvadious he was my Prince charming but now that he's "Future" he's ..." I stopped trying to figure out words to say.

"Jeepers Creepers." Ashley said finishing my sentence.

"Yeah. Now wpuld you two please get out So I can get dressed?"

Shavone picked up my heels and looked at them.

"Really? Heels to a club?"

I sighed and put my head n my hands.

"Oh God!"

"A club not a photo shoot!" She said standing up.

"Shut up and get out!"

"Girl I gotta say, you pulls that look off tonight." Shavone said hitting my clutch.

"Thank you." I said taking her snapback.

We took a picture and went to the bouncer.

"Hello Ms.Amara." he smiled.

I Smiled and waved.

"Hello." We walked in and looked around.

"Girl I see so many fine dudes, somebody finna buy me a drink!" Ashley said.

"Yassssss boo!!!" Shavone said. "Its plenty of fine dudes up in here."

"Stick to yo type boo. Black men ain't for you. You got Robin." I said laughing.

"Shut up. I'm finna go to the bar." She Said.

We followed behind her as we danced to the music.

Somebody bumped into me and I turned around.

"I'm so sorry about that."

I looked up.

"Chris?"

"Amara? Whassup? What you doing here?" He laughed.

"I'm here with my sister's."

"I wanna meet em."

I grabbed his hand and led him through the crowd to the bar.

"Hey y'all." I spoke.

Ashley turned around and almost lost it. Screaming and jumping.

"That's Ashley and Shavone."

He laughed. "Hey Shavone. You're Robin Thickes wife right?"

"Yeah."

"As you can see I'm the only single one out the crew." Ashley said. "She's married to robin and she still stuck on her ex husband."

"Don't listen to her."

He laughed and we talked a few more minutes then my song came on.

Got The Club Going Up....

"OHHHHHH!!!!!!" Me and the girls hollered and ran to the dance floor.

I could see Chris looking at us out the corner of my eye.

As we danced to the music my body felt gittery. I knew he was looking at me. But I didn't care cause the club was going up.

"Y'all a trip." Chris said.

We had been chilling together all night. He had a good time and I could tell.

"Y'all a trip." He said walking behind us.

"Well when we turn up it be real. And tonight was definitely on one!" Shavone said.

"Yeah it was. I had fun. We should chill again some time." Chris said standing by the car.

"Yeah. That sound like fun." Ashley said.

"Nah, just me and you." He said looking at me.

They got in the car and it was just us two.

"What you think?"

"I'll clear my schedule And we'll see." I Smiled crossing my arms.

"Ight. See you tomorrow?"

I nodded.

"Tomorrow."

"Take care baby girl." He closed my car door and i started up the car. I noticed it was quiet so I looked at tgem and they just looked at me.

"What?"

"What was y'all talking about?" Ashley asked.

"Mind your business." I said pulling out.

"The last time you told us that you ended up saying I do a year later and then 9 months after that you was pushing out a baby!" Shavone said looking in the mirror.

"Well that was when I was dumb and stupid. And plus, me and Chris are just friends. Well label mates or whatever you wanna call it.

Ashley shook her head.

"Mmhm.... I guess!"
