Chapter 5:Drunk Texting

2 weeks later....

Amara

Today was his first little league football practice. I just had to be there since Nayvadious was in the studio. Me and my mom were there together.

"WHEEEEWW!!!! Go Cam Cam Go!!!" I cheered.

"He looks like he's having fun." My mom said.

"I know. He looks just like his dad." I said taking pictures.

"Where is he?" She asked looking around.

"In the studio." I said slightly rolling my eyes.

"I an so glad you two are divorced. He doesn't show up to any of his things like this." She said shaking her head.

"Yeah I know me too."

"You ever think about moving on?"

I ignored her question and stood up cheering.

"Go baby!"

She pulled my arm making me sit back down.

"This is only practice not a game."

"Huh?"

"Girl. You heard me."

"Come again say what?" I said repeating it like he did in School Dance.

"Girl." She said.

I sighed.

"I don't know. I'm too busy."

"Too busy to take a little time out to go on a date? Cameron is fine he has me and a gang of friends he can have a play date with someone. Besides I know it's someone you want to see anyway."

"It isn't. I just haven't been looking."

"You don't have to necessarily be looking. It could be in your face and you wouldn't even know it." She put her shades on and threw her hands up cheering. "Lets go Cam Cam!"

Chris

I was in the studio waiting for Amara to come. For the past two weeks she has been busy going back and forth between our song and Cameron. Since future hasn't been stepping up to the plate, she has been playing the role of a dad lately. All I can do is be understanding.

She walked in and smiled at me. I Smiled back.

"This is hot!" She said hugging me.

"I have you to thank for It." I said stopping it.

"We almost done?"

"Yeah. We just gotta lay this one part down and then we'll be done."

She smiled.

"Lets do it."

We walked behind the booth and sat down in the stool.

"Just like we rehearsed it." I said putting my headphones on.

Chris- intoxicated

Amara- intoxicated

Chris- That's when I think of you the most, right after this toast anything goes. When I put my pride aside

Amara- I'll be doing the most, doing the most

Both- I done spent 1,2,3 am thinking about cha. Don't wanna be without cha. Cause I'm on that liquid courage I hope this Sh is worth it cause if it ain't then it's all bad. All bad.

Chris- So baby tonight. I'm blowing up yo phone.
