CHAPTER 8: Date Night

I was waiting on Amara and Cameron to come outside. She had called me an hour ago and she still not ready. What she doing making a new face?

Finally she came out and Got in the car.

"Sorry it took so long. I had to change my clothes." She said putting her seatbelt on.

"Its cool. Gas only like $4 a gallon." I joked sarcastically.

She playfully hit my shoulder and laughed.

"Shut up."

I smiled and looked back at Cameron.

"What's up Lil man."

He smiled.

"Whassup Chris." He smiled.

"Yall ready?"

They both nodded.

"That was fun! I wanna get on again!" I said smiling.

"Can we mommy?" Cameron asked.

"Yall can. I'm gonna watch." She said sitting down.

"What's the matter? You scared of a little roller coaster?" I joked.

"That's not little. And no I'm not scared I just need to breathe."

"Yeah from all that crying you was doing. Come on Cam Cam." I laughed walking away with Cameron.

"Which one you want?" I asked Cameron.

"The big bear right there." He said pointing.

I got the bear and we walked around a little more.

"What's next?" Amara asked.

"I'm hungry." Cameron said running his stomach.

"Me too." I said rubbing mine.

"Really? Yall just had two chilli dogs and a funnel cake."

"Men have bigger appetites than yall."

"That ain't a appetite that's fat." She laughed.

We pulled up to her house and Just sat there for a minute.

"You're welcome."

She looked at me and scrunched her face up.

"Why for?"

"Putting him to sleep for you."

She giggled.

"Thanks. And you're welcome too."

I did the same.

"For why?"

She giggled.

"Giving you a good time. And feeding you. And paying for your tab. Which the next time we go out its your turn."

He laughed.

"When is the next time?"

She sighed.

"Tomorrow night at 7?" She raised an eyebrow.

I nodded.

"That works."

She smiled.

"Okay help me get my baby in the house please."
