Chapter 10: My Main

Amara

I was getting ready for my single releasing. This was one of the biggest days of my career. I was nervous because I was performing it. The biggest stars were gonna be there and it was gonna be shown on television. I had to do it and do it big.

"Okay, let's go over it one more time." I said to my dancers.

"Come on Amara, we gone be tired before we go out." One of my dancers said sighing.

"Okay well we gonna go over the song one more time." I said walking over to the sound man.

"We might not want to do that. I'm afraid that if we play this track again, we might scratch it or might not play right." He said.

I sighed.

"I don't know what to do..." I said sitting down.

"You can sit there." I looked over to my left and seem Chris walking to me with roses.

"These are for you." He smiled.

I smiled and took them smelling them.

"Thank you."

"You nervous?" He asked sitting down.

I nodded and sat next to him.

"Yes. Very." I sighed swinging my feet.

"Dont be. You're very good at what you do."

"Thank you. But how do I know I won't fall and bust my face or something."

He laughed.

"Chill. You're not."

I sighed.

"I'm here, your mom is here, Cameron, and your sisters are here."

I smiled.

"You're right."

I stood up and started walking off.

"You leaving me?"

"I gotta get ready."

"Good luck baby girl."

I finished my song and the crowd went crazy. I looked out in the crowd to see Chris smiling at me. Sent chills down my spine.

"You did good baby girl." Chris said hugging me.

"Thank you."

I looked down and seen Cameron hugging us.

"You did good mommy."

I smiled.

"Thank you baby. I'm gone go change my clothes and enjoy my night."

After I changed my clothes I went back out.

"Heres a drink on me." Chris said smiling.

"It's alcohol here and my baby here?" I panicked.

He chuckled.

"A drink doesn't necessarily mean an alcoholic drink. I bought you a sprite ."

I took a deep breath of relief.

"Good. Thank you." I drank my soda and sighed,

"You okay?"

I nodded. "Just thinking a lot that's all."

"Care to talk."

I opened my mouth to speak but was interrupted.

"Amara, they want you to do an interview."

I sighed and looked at Chris. "Hold on."

"So how does it feel to be here tonight?" Morgan asked.

I smiled. "Wonderful. I couldn't have asked for better. My son is here,my family friends and fans."

"So what is up with you and Chris Brown? Anything going on?"

I shook my head no.

"No. We are just friends. That's it. Just friends."

"Well you heard it here first people. Go cop that single right now on iTunes. This is Morgan here with Str8ght up News 100. Have a great night,"

Why does everybody keep asking me this? Is this a sighn.

I seem Nayvadious come in and I immediately tensed up. Not with butterflies, not with nervousness. With irritation.

I walked over to Chris,

"You alright?" He asked.

"Yeah I'm fi--"

"Amara. Congratulations, you did good."

I turned around and seen Nayvadious.

"Nayvadious, thank you."

"Whassup chris!"

Chris looked him and up down then turned his head.

"Sup man."

"I can't wait for us to start the song,"

He looked him up and down and stood up.

"I gotta bounce. I'll call you later,"

We hugged and he kissed my cheek. He left and I looked at Nayvadious.

"Yall together?"

I crossed my arms.

"Even if we were do you think I would tell you?"

I rolled my eyes and walked away.

He jealous and he think I care. Try again!!!
