officer: Ok lets start off with basic questions, do you live in the area?

Riley: no. im here for my schools soccer team. im a manager, we're just here for the tournement.

mattia and kairi nod. i said i would not participate in questioning unless they were here. the officer writes into his little notepad.

officer: now we already know this but why were you admitted into the hospital the second time?

Riley: i was umm.. i- i was kidnapped, sexually assulted.

officer: mhmm. and it says here you had, bruises and hand marks all over your body, damage to the tissue in your..area. suffered from multiple stab wounds to the chest, stomach......

Sound drained out from the room. I felt numb, a cold numb..I glanced over at the boys. It was obviously hard for them to hear as well. Mattia gave me a look of pity. The officer was still ranting.

Riley: could you please move onto the next question.

officer: what state do you live in? and town please.

Riley: Little Falls, New Jersey.

The questions went on a while, until the final thing.

Officer: Explain everything that happened in best detail you can.

I looked at the boys, who braced themselves and nodded. Kairi looked afraid, Mattia put his hand on Kairis shoulder. Comforting him. I took a deep breath and started...

Riley: well..where do you want me to start?

Officer: From the first time you were sent to the hospital.

Riley: oh, well apparently I had Bulimia. I had a falling out, and my friends caught me attempting to get food out of my system...and I was sent to the hospital for treatment. After a night spent at the hospital I was properly diagnosed with my eating disorder. It all kind of left me in a weird feeling. Like..angry, scared, but sad. Something in my brain snapped and all I remember was sitting on my bed, and then feeling a sharp, really bad pain in my wrist. I remember feeling my body slap on the floor. I remember getting rug burns from my skin, and my arms, they hurted, like they were being over stretched?

Mattia: I can give a clearer description. I was there, I saw the whole thing. I remember everything.

The officer nods.

Officer: continue your story Riley.

Riley: Well, next thing I remember seeing was a dark hallway. Well, everything was dim-lit, but at the same time bright? I remember my feet being sore because I was pounding them on the ground, trying to claw my way back. Or stop them. Then I remember hearing a metal door open and being thrown into a cold room. I hit a hard, cold floor and slid across it from the pressure. Then I was left..all alone. Just like that..

You started to tear up but quickly snapped out of it. You knew it wasn't getting you anywhere.

Officer: so you were left in a room?

Riley: yes.

Officer: what did you see and feel during that time?

Riley: well I saw white. the lights in the room were so bright and it was....it was enough to drive a human insane.

The officer clearly seemed disturbed.

Officer: what did they do?

Riley: well they would come into my room two times a day?  and they would draw my blood. Well, they had to put me under anesthesia because I would not let them out of my own free will. Then they would draw blood.
