Before leaving I went to coach's room. I knocked on the door before I saw his head pop out.
Coach: Mattia? Hey son, come on in.
I stepped in nervously. I sat down on one of the beds and folded my hands. Looking down. He sat across from me in the other bed.
Coach: So what's up?
Mattia: well, mr. Cosentino, I don't know if you've noticed but, I've developed incredibly deep feelings for your daughter, and well....I was wondering, if h had your blessing to ask her if she'd like to be my girlfriend?
He stared at me a few seconds before smiling.
Coach: Your my sons best friend since freshmen year. I trust you with majority of my heart. If my daughter makes you happy....I suppose I can support this relationship.
I smile big before standing up.
Mattia: thank you so much Mr. Cosentino. You have no idea how much this means to me!
I shake his hand before leaving the room with a smile.
