"What do you want" Yoongi had immediately asked dryly while Jimin looked at him in worry "The marriage meeting-" "Like I said the last time, I'm not fucking marrying anyone"
"It's not that you mannerless brat. I need you to attend the meeting with the two families and reject the marriage in front of them" Yoongi laughed.
"Let me guess, their company went bankrupt or something and you don't need their burden on you so instead of saying that to them yourself you want your mannerless brat of a son to say no to them" silence meant yes.
"I said it before and I'll say it again, I don't have a family back in Daegu anymore. I don't give a damn about what happens to you, mom or Hyung so don't contact me again"
"Wait- I'm begging you, son, just do this and you won't have to hear from us again" Wow, now I'm your son huh?
"I'll think about it" said Yoongi before hanging up "That's the first time he ever called me son, to tell me he'd give up on me if I help him maintain his image rather then try to understand me or accept me" chuckled Yoongi.
"Hyung... you don't have to go or cut connections with them at all. I know you hate them and how much they've hurt you but I also know you still want them to accept you and that's perfectly normal, they're still your family after all"
Jimin reassured the older who sighed "I'll go if you don't mind that is. If they'll really cut connections with me then I'll do it. As you said, I haven't completely given up on them yet, but I need to. I have to give up before I end up trusting them and get hurt again"
Jimin didn't hesitate to nod basically allowing his boyfriend to go on a marriage meet because they both knew, he needed the closure.
"I'll come with you, you're not going to go through that all alone. We'll stay overnight in a hotel and I'll be there for you when you get back" he promised. "Thankyou" mumbled Yoongi as the younger hugged him.
There were occasional hiccups from Yoongi indicating he was crying so when the boys almost walked in and heard Yoongi crying from the open door of the hospital room, they stopped dead in their tracks.
Jimin was fast to mouth 'leave' and slightly shake his head at them so that Yoongi would not notice their presence. "It's okay Hyung, you can do it" Yoongi nodded as Jimin watched the other boys leave noiselessly.
Yoongi eventually detached himself from the younger to text his father
