Desicions, Desicions

It was almost nighttime as the other team sat in the lounge.

A flood of emotions were secretly flowing through the room, although nobody would say a thing.

Everyone seemed distant except Brooke, Pete, Jake, and Rachelle.

Tracy and Mike were the most silent out of everyone. Possibly even nervous too.

Chris was the first to break the ice.

"So, what are we going to do?"

Mike was the first one to speak,

"Beats me. We all made a decision a long long time ago, but we're scared about it."

"Mike's right. There is just so much that has happened and this decision is major."

"What if we accept them but they don't accept us?"

"That might happen."

"No, it won't. Look, we might have a dysfunctional coach and a team that is half baked, but we have potential. And we won't let negative thoughts get in the way of it."

"You're right, Jake. It's just that because of everything and everyone that they might give us the cold shoulder."

"I look up to Florence and she would never."

"What if there is a different side to Florence that nobody even knows existed? She might be nice, but what if she is like Phoebe, maybe even worse?"

"Florence is a little hot headed, but not like Phoebe's level. No way, no way that could be possible."

"Florence is like the perfect coach. Every cheerleader wishes to be an Angel. Their story is so inspiring. How they came from nothing, it's all hard work and just a little bit of luck. Hearing the full story is really motivating."

"Tell us then, Brad."

"I will. Where do I start? Florence Moines always loved to cheer, she started cheerleading when she could walk, which is crazy young. Anyways, when Cheerleader America came out, it only grew her love for cheerleading even more. So when she was old enough, she auditioned, but never got in. Despite being rejected, she never gave up and instead worked as the coach for her school's cheerleading team. One day, Florence had a friend who invited her on the set of Cheerleader America and she met 15 girls who were rejected from the other coaches. They made their team and they recruited girls from all over. Every girl brought a triggering event, from a high speed chase to one of them almost drowning to death. I know, it's crazy. When they were declared a "Superteam", they had to fight the four teams from Cheerleader America. They won the last competition with flying colors.

After one season, 10 of them left. All for many reasons, but none of them were for mistreatment. Some had to leave because they were homesick, or their families needed them, or they just needed to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the Cheerleading world. It wasn't easy for them. For a while, they didn't have a house or a gym to practice in. And sometimes, money was super tight, so they had to make some decisions. Now, they're here. And it's about the end of Cheerleader School. They'll make it even bigger in the future, I know it, and I want to be in the first set of male Angels on the superteam."

Everyone was shocked and in dismay.

"Wow, I never knew the whole story."

"I can go on and on more if you want."

"I think we're good."

The room was silent again for a minute or two.

"We all are going with the Angels."

"I can't stand being with Phoebe as a permanent coach."

"Then It's settled."

Mike got up.

"What?"

"We're going to choose the Angels. Even if they don't want us, we'll go with them. I'd rather be treated fairly and actually perform than be with that monster of a person. Who's with me?"

"Me!"

"Yeah!"

"All of us!"

"From now on, let's call ourselves Angels too! Because, you know why? We were meant to be with them, they wanted us all along. And yeah, we might've had some slip ups and we might have looked unprofessional at times. At the end of the day, Florence will accept us. And it will be the only time that on this show we'll be treated as human beings and not puppets or punching bags."
