I looked down in disbelief, I'm 24 not 18? I'm sure graduation was only a couple nights ago at the very most, I remember everything so clearly ... even that one thing I wish I never saw.

I snapped out of my trailing thoughts and looked back at my parents, my dad and brother had shuffled over to the right side of my bed with mom by this point. "I-I'm 24? How did six years go by without me remembering anything? Was I in a coma for that long!" I began to shake nervously.

I can't miss out on everything, I was accepted into Yale, they wouldn't take a 24 whose been asleep for six years as a student.

To my relief my mom shook her head, "no, six years ago you got into that awful crash and woke up a couple weeks later, you couldn't remember anything and went to Cambridge a year later. You only came back to America a couple months ago, that's when you crashed your car again last week."

My dad nodded his head as I looked for him for verification, I paused for a second before remembering. I snapped my head over to face this man sitting next to me, I scanned his expression once more.

He seemed to be shell shocked, not more at all from his bent over posture, "who is this man then?" I asked my parents.

They looked at each other and nodded before looking back at me "honey ... he's your husband."

I chuckled "me? I'm married? I'm not even in college yet ..." a string in my brain snapped
"Oh right ... I'm 24."

I looked back at that man, he was now fully facing me once more, he seemed to still be in disbelief. The tears that were filling in his eyes made me feel uncomfortable for some reason, like a strain of compression on my heart.

I took a deep breath in for composure, "what's going to happen to me then? I forgot all of my memories of six years, what if I never remember this time?" This made mom begin to cry again "I-I-I" she stammered just before a couple doctors walked in.

"Mrs Addison Reed?" The attendant asked.

I looked back at my so called husband, so his last name is reed then.

I looked back at the main doctor, "yes" the doctors came by my 'husbands' side to examine me, "how are you feeling? You just woke up from a four day coma."

I touched my head instinctively "my head hurts and I feel weak ..." the doctor nodded "that's normal for someone whose just woke up from a car crash, although thankfully you had very minor damages we will have to run an assessment. A nurse will take your vitals as I talk to your family, is that okay?"

I nodded as the doctors left and asked my family to follow them, it felt weird seeing the man beside me leave with my family.

A nurse ushered herself to my side and started to check my blood pressed and air flow. "You must be happy" she beamed, "your husband is such a nice guy, today was the first day he left your side. All of the nurses told him to go home and wash up even for an hour, he looked like a zombie always worried about you. Thankfully you woke up soon"

I smiled and glanced over to the door.

Mr Reed, my husband. How did we meet?
