I tiptoed back into the house by climbing through Ezra's study window, luckily Mrs Jackson was still in the kitchen so I sneaked back up to my room.

I made it safe without being detected, I changed and swiftly got back into bed.

"Wow how brazen are you?" The hairs on my back stood up as I turned to see Ezra walk out from the bathroom. I smiled realising that I was doomed; mission failed.

"Ezra..." I smiled "how long have you been there?" I asked as he walked over to the bed, "well I came home to check up on you and to my surprise you weren't here, Mrs Jackson didn't know so I waited for an hour for you to show up. I saw your whole show of climbing through the window from upstairs, all I can say is that I'm impressed. You flaunted my rules so easily."

I was speechless, damn it he knows it all, I guess that I can only tell him the truth now. "Actually Charlotte asked to meet me, we met in a nearby cafe, she's moving back to New York soon to start college, if I didn't see her today I would've missed her as she's leaving tomorrow."

Ezra sighed and stroked my hair, "you're not a teenager anymore and I'm not your parent. You don't have to sneak out of a window to meet a friend, you could've asked me." I frowned, "would you have let me go?" He coughed and averted my eye contact.

I huffed "I won't do it again, but other than the occasional vomiting I feel fine. Let's compromise, I won't go back to work until I feel fine, but let me have a personal life as long as I tel you where I go?" I pleaded.

He sighed but agreed, "I'm only agreeing because you look better now." We stared at each other in silence for a couple seconds before I ran back to the toilet to be sick again, Addison you really are your own worse enemy.

I awkwardly laughed after cleaning myself up and getting into bed, "ignore that, I'm beginning to feel way better, I might be completely healed by tomorrow!" I enthusiastically added.

Ezra smirked, tucking some of my hair behind my ear, "you're still not going to work tomorrow." He whispered before going to sleep.

"Hello?" I answered my phone once again the next morning, "Hello, Addison? This is Ms Walters." I shot up out of bed at her call, "sorry I didn't ring you yesterday I was busy, do you have some spare time today? I don't work on Tuesdays and I have the photo albums you wanted."

I began to grin, now I have something to laugh at whenever Ezra makes fun of me, "do you mind coming to my house? I have food poisoning so Ezra won't let me go out, I'll tell Ezra that you're coming over so you don't feel uncomfortable."

She agreed and as she began to drive over I called Ezra to tell him, he didn't really have an opinion as I just told him that she was dropping over my purse that I left at the cafe when I last saw her.

"Wow" Ms Walters stood in awe in the porch-way, I greeted her as I walked down the stairs and I motioned her to proceed into the living room on her right.

"Is it alright if I sit down? These chair look expensive." She asked before I gave her the all clear. "I can't believe my son lives in a place like this." She looked around in amazement.

"Of course he does, my father brought us this house because he loves his son-in-law." I scoffed, trying not to be mean but assertive.

Ms Walters smiled at me, "Ezra grew up in a tiny semi-basement, I'm happy that where he lives now reflects his worth." I sighed, I couldn't keep up this mean facade now for Ezra. I don't want to admit it, but I think his mom is a decent person.

"The only reason Ezra got to the place he is now is because he never second guessed his self worth, although my father gave us this house it's only because Ezra proved his worth, my father wouldn't have let me marry him no matter his background if Ezra had a bad character." I reassured her.

Ms Walters nodded her head still smiling, "I'm glad that my son met someone that cares for him." I frowned mentally, Ezra why did your mom have to be so nice? I can't hate her for you.

"I'm sorry that I'm being mean to you, at first I hated you but after getting to know you you're too nice to blindly hate." I sighed as a weight was practically lifted off of my chest.

"It's okay, I understand why you've tried to hate me." Damn she even has the same sad puppy dog eyes that Ezra has, how can I stay mad at her? "Do you want the pictures now?" She added, snapping me back into reality.

I nodded and took the bag, however the bag had a strong perfume fragrance and caused me to run to the bathroom again.

"I'm sorry about that." I awkwardly smiled as I walked back into the room, "it's fine don't worry about it, I also had bad morning sickness when I was pregnant with Ezra." I stood in the center of the room baffled by her words.

I instinctively began to shake my head, "oh no I'm not pregnant I just have food poisoning." Ms Walters looked embarrassed by her words and left shortly after that.

Which is when I began to think, my last period should've been just over a month ago, but I'm normally late by a couple of days anyways. Let's not think about that anymore and just start preparing for my birthday.
