"Addison, I was wondering if you wanted to help team 2 on this project." Ezra called me over to his desk to see what type of project it was, "it's visual identity, not illustration?" Ezra nodded his head in response to my question.

"You said that you wanted to work harder the other day, I can't promote you from being an intern until you learn all of the groups of graphic design that you would learn at college. Plus it's brand designing for a handbag line, you're good at shopping for designers." I nodded sternly, "that is true."

He smiled at me "see it's a project that you would be enthusiastic about" I looked over the proposal at more length, liking it even more. "So do you want to help out?" I enthusiastically nodded and smiled.

"You'll be working under Olivia, you probably haven't met her yet as she's flying in from the Paris branch for Monday. But she used to work for British Vogue maybe six years ago." My eyes lit up, "yes obviously I know Olivia Berkshire!" I began jumping for joy.

"There's just one problem, you two aren't really on good terms. I'd never seen you shout at anyone before until I saw you with Olivia." I dropped to the floor, damn it Addison you and your temper.

"Why did I shout at her? I might be able to salvage the relationship." I pleased with him,
"I don't exactly know but Olivia definitely has a domineering personality, you were on her team for a while and you kept clashing with each-other." Okay so I just have to be the best intern now.

Olivia would obviously hate an intern that hasn't done her research so I'll study all weekend!

It was definitely hard, I've practically made a fort out of magazines and editorials. But what if Olivia asks me if a back whip stitch or a double cordovan stitch would suit the theme better? I must keep researching!

"That's enough now." Ezra whipped the magazine out of my hand, "no my research!" I pleaded from the floor, "as your employer I'm glad that you're taking your job seriously, but as your husband I won't see you ruining your health over this." He scooped me into his arms and placed me into my comfortable bed.

"Did you have therapy again today?" I asked him as he got out of the shower, he nodded "you should've gone as-well." He spoke softly as he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear, I shook my head "I must be prepared for everything, Olivia won't put up with my impudence." I muttered.

Ezra patted my shoulder "I'm sure she's not going to ask you to list the fifty most iconic bags of the last century, the best thing you can do now that you've prepared is to rest." I nodded, "you know I know a great way to keep your mind off of all of this." He purred.

I glared at him "no impregnating me." He rolled his eyes "do you have to describe the joys of bringing life into this world like that." I grinned wrapping my arms around his neck and deeply kissed him.

I barely slept last night, in between Ezra and thinking about today I may have got three hours of sleep ... and now I'm throwing out several outfits with aspects that Olivia has said were classics in an interview. Am I overthinking all this? Maybe. But Addison Reed doesn't underserve with looks.

Finally I had chosen a Burberry outfit with a vintage Chanel bag: classic, classy and work appropriate. I am in my war clothes, I can't lose this battle, I want this!

"Nice to meet you Olivia!" I professionally greeted her as she walked past me, "you're that intern right, the one that married Ezra." I nodded my head as she eyed up my outfit "at least you know your designers now." I took that as a compliment, the more backhanded the compliment in this industry, the better it is.

We all sat down for the meeting that was held by Olivia, there are eight types of graphic design and Ezra has an office for each. He's currently overseeing the illustration branch here in LA designed to work for collaborations with artists in different mediums, like James. Olivia oversees the Paris branch that deals with brands and creates identities for them through graphic design, she is a core pillar for King Designs and someone that I want to recognise my talents.

As the meeting was coming to an end Olivia looked in my direction "Addison, you used to have a lot to say regarding creating a brands image, I would like to hear your opinion." Finally, the moment I had prepared for.

I cleared my throat before smiling professionally "although the brand is new it sells high end products, the brand shouldn't create an image to fit in with fast fashion. Although they may have an initial surge of sales it will ruin the integrity of the brand, and once the rich don't want the products anymore working class people will stop wanting it too. So the best thing is to market the product towards black card owners to create good relationships, then the public will soon gain interest."

Olivia seemed to agree with my viewpoint, "okay we'll try to convince the owner to agree with us with the image, but for now we need to create a logo and start a brand campaign. The next few weeks will be intense but I have confidence in my team." She smiled to conclude the meeting.

"Ms Robinson, or should I say Mrs Reed now" Olivia called over to me after the meeting ended, "I'm impressed, you're definitely more dignified than you were when we last met." I smiled back, trying to not get onto an in-depth conversation as I don't really know what she's talking about.

"I'm sorry, my memory isn't that good right now. I can't exactly remember why we would fight." I asked, trying to stay professional and not praise her.

Olivia raises her eyebrow "you don't remember how you ruined a brand? I didn't want to agree to you ever being on my team again but Ezra pleaded with me, but if you ever question my authority again I'll make sure that you can never work in this business again." Olivia left after that interaction.

I'm doomed.
