Mr Reed grabbed my hand and escorted me to a quiet meeting room.

"Why are you here? How did you get here!" He asked in an authoritative tone, "Uber deluxe obviously, is it okay if I topped the guy a lot? He got me here really fast."

"I don't care about that, I mean why are you at my company, I remember giving you strict orders to not travel, you're not fully healed and you get easily lost in the city by yourself." I smirked "I'm eighteen technically twenty-four, not a dog, I think I can read street signs well enough not to get lost."

Mr Reed rubbed his temples in frustration,
"I know you can do that you're not an idiot, but your mental state is fragile at the moment - you don't know what you trigger a relapse of trauma." I smiled walking over to him
"Look I just came out here to give you this 'very emergent file' you asked for, Mrs Johnson wasn't feeling well so I gave her the rest of the day off. It's stuffy staying home all day, if you want me to get better than you should look after my well-being by trusting me."

Mr Reed huffed knowing that he had lost this battle, "fine, I won't be angry anymore. Let's go home for today, this is a very overwhelming environment."

Before I could speak he began to usher me out of the room. "Wait a minute" I managed to pull myself away from his grasp, "you want me to get my memories back asap right, then surely being here surrounded by people I used to know would help me more than staying at a house that I had only stayed at for a couple of months." I connived.

Mr Reed shook his head "you can't work here, this is a professional environment and you don't have any qualifications that you remember." Once again I broke from him ushering grasp again to face him "then make me an intern again, make me a secretary or whatever. You think little of me now because I'm a teenager, but I'm pretty good at graphic design and I'm profession too. Please" I pouted.

Mr Reed once more rubbed his temples before grunting and asking me to follow him to his office, I squealed and excitingly followed his steps.

"You can be an intern for my office aka team 1," he spoke whilst digging out the paperwork,
"I'm giving you this chance because I trust you, but if you don't take your job seriously don't think that you can get away with that because you're my wife. I will fire you on the spot if you start slacking."

I shivered somehow on instinct "atleast I know that I didn't marry you to curry favor with the boss, I think that's impossible here." Mr Reed clicked his fingers "that's right, you married me because you loved me." I shook my head
"I find that hard to believe too."

He shot me a sharp look, then motioned me to air in the seat opposite his desk, I quickly sat down and was handed a contract for one year.

One year, that's how long I have to remember who I was I guess.

We shook on it and I was introduced to team 1, Kelton and Lyn were both there so that was a good thing I guess. I hate to admit that Mr Reeds was right but it was a very overwhelming feeling, I had a weird instinct there of who was nice and who was backstabbing, I guess old me was giving me some hints.

But the worst thing out of all of this was that my 'office' was a desk in Mr Reeds office. I have zero privacy and his walls being glass, I keep making weird eye contact with his secretaries.

I felt relieved when it was finally seven and my boss/husband had finished all of his work.

Never did I know that the words "we can leave now I'm done" would fill me with such ecstasy, I followed him like a dog to the car lot.

"I did a good job today right! Of course it's my first day
