We got back to LA the next day after saying goodbye to the Cromwells, it was night by the time we stepped out of LAX. We went straight to sleep as soon as we got home - sleeping in separate beds as it was instinctual for us both to walk into different rooms and we were too tired not to go into the others room.

It was a Friday when we went back to work, I was still tired from the flight but seeing Ezra's cute little smile after seeing me in the morning made getting up worth it.

"Addy!" Lyn smiled at me after I settled down at my desk, "hi!" I beamed, "did something good happen on your trip?" She asked slyly, I nodded and whispered in her ear "we kissed." She quietly squealed with me about the news.

"So what's the next step for you two?" She asked, I shrugged "maybe on a date tomorrow? We were both tired after coming back home last night that we haven't talked about anything yet." I smiled.

"I'm happy for you two, Ezra's my oldest friend and you've been through so much that I just want you two to be happy again." We talked for a while longer about New York before a man walked over to us.

"James!" I said, surprised that he was at my desk, then I realised that it was Friday and he was coming in to see how the drafts were coming along that Lyn was working on.

He smiled at us "did you miss me?" He joked as Lyn stood there in awe, not being able to process his words. "You're a bit early to your meeting, I think Mr Reed is still on the phone, did you need anything from me?" I asked.

He nodded handing us four tickets, "I'm holding a concert in LA on Saturday, I forgot to give these tickets to you earlier this week but I hope you can still make it. I got four tickets for your two friends ... and your husband." I reluctantly took them, I didn't really want to go but Lyn was watering over these VIP tickets.

"Mr Vale." Ezra walked out of his office to see James handing me the tickets, "you're early for our meeting, so do you mind going over to the meeting room and I'll meet you over there in a minute?" James nodded and walked away.

"Miss Robinson, may I see you in my office for a minute." I nodded and followed him back into his office, "I thought that you said you didn't want to talk to him, isn't he your ex boyfriend?" I nodded, sulking "he keeps coming up and talking to me, I'm not trying to start a conversation, but I can't annoy him otherwise he could back out of the project."

Ezra nodded in agreement "does he know that you're married?" I looked up to him so that our eyes met "of course." Ezra's demeanour changed and he smiled and swiftly pecked me on the lips and patted my head, "good girl, if you're uncomfortable with it you can work in my office instead." I shook my head smiling at him "it's fine."

"Oh right!" I showed Ezra the tickets in my hand "James gave me these tickets to see his show tomorrow, I didn't want to go but Lyn really wanted to go and I feel like she wouldn't be welcomed unless I go. Do you want to come? James gave me an extra ticket for my husband." He nodded and kissed my forehead before we both left the room.

We joined James, his manager, marketing representative and Lyn in the meeting room as Lyn was just going over some of her ideas with them. James' team seemed to really like Lyn's work, I mean she was an amazing artist.

"Do you like it Addy?" James asked me for approval, "of course, Lyn is a great artist and she really caught your persona in all of them." I was amazed at her artwork, but I guess that's why she's Ezra's second in command.

James nodded, taking in my approval. "Then what about combining two and seven, I like the composition of the neon lights in two, but I really like the background in seven. Would it be okay to change it?" He asked Lyn as he leaned in closer to me to point out the artworks.

"Mr Vale, we can discuss the other details later on, for now Lyn should be able to come up with a final draft now." Ezra added as he inserted himself between me and James.

I smiled at him and rolled my eyes, he grinned back, "fine, I have a photo shoot soon anyways. Addy you're still coming tomorrow right?" I nodded, smiling and hoping that he would leave soon, he's being nice but he's definitely not respecting my boundaries.

Ezra turned around and glared at me as soon as James left, I shrugged and struck out my tongue at him playfully. I giggled after that, but froze when Ezra pecked my lips once again when I was off guard.

That man seriously ...
