Bright sunlight shone as Hobin opened his eyes the next day, he woke up very early because of the sound of the telephone in the living room. He struggled to get off the couch because he was exhausted after what he did last night.

"Good morning, Mr. Kim Hobin. I'm Police Officer Calvin Choi from Seodong Gu Police Station, I called to report the progress of the investigation," sabi ng pulis sa kabilang linya na may pangalang Calvin.

I still want to sleep.

"Fingerprints from the chef knife were identified yesterday and we are sorry that it came from your father, ngayon lang namin naipalam sa'yo dahil madami din kaming ginagawa."

"Okay," sagot niya ulit habang nakapikit ang dalawang mata. His eyelids are heavy, antok na antok pa talaga siya.

As Calvin spoke to him, he heard him take a deep breath and sensed his patience running out. "Pwede mo na kunin ang katawan ng magulang mo dahil tapos na ang autopsy, but it will take a long time to get the result because there are drugs found in your house."

"I remember dad taking medicine, he said it can ease his anxiety. It can make him smarter, happier, and healthier, but I shouldn't try that or I'll be in big trouble." Hobin took a look at the bandage covering the wounds he caused on his wrist last night.

And he yawned once more.

[/Inaudible sound/]

Calvin started cursing on the other line. "Mr. Kim, pwede bang huwag mo 'yan gawin?

"The f*ck, Mr. Kim!" he cursed again and seemed to be moving his phone so that Hobin wouldn't hear him yawning. It spreads easily and it still quite drowsy.

"Why did you call so early?" nagreklamo din ni Hobin sa kaniya.

"Madami kaming kailangan gawin.

He looks really busy right now.

"Calvin Choi!"

Dahil nga madami siyang ginagawa ay galit niya itong sinagot.

"What did you say!?"

"Po, Detective? Ikaw pala 'yan! Sorry." He's the detective who interviewed Hobin the other day.

He hung up the telephone and went to his bedroom to tidy himself up.
