SPOILERS FROM A MEMORY IN BREATH OF THE WILD FOR THE ONSHOT!!!
Alrighty! Onto the Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild crossover with Hypnosis Mic's one and only Kuko Harai!!(you basically are Zelda, and Kuko is a huge tsundere Link technically for this story)
The rain down poured on the lush green wildlife that you stayed under. Your (H/c) wasn't drenched, but it had a few drops of water on it, and same goes for your clothes. Nothing drastic. Unlike the drenched royal knight your father—otherwise known as The King of Hyrule—has assigned for you. His short yet somehow spiky crimson hair was forced down from the heavy rainfall. The blue cloth that was now over his shoulders held a signature of courage and pride for him despite it being soaking wet. His white shirt that was under his blue jacket-like cloth showed. The knight swung the one and only sword that seals the darkness with a grunt coming from his mouth. The harsh drops of rain clinging onto himself and the sword while they slowly fell off. Glancing up at the stormy grey sky, you sighed. Your back was up against a rock formation with a goddess statue aside to you, and a tall yet still slouching tree who's leaves were sheltering you from the storm.
"I doubt this will let up anytime soon..."
You mumbled. Your assigned knight, Kuko Harai, an extremely talented solider, didn't pay any mind to your ponders and continued to swing the Master Sword he was chosen with. The sheath for the legendary sword laid flat on a rock next to you. The golden on the sheath reminded you of Kuko's golden eyes. The gold on the swords carrier shined in the rains reflection. Although you couldn't see his eyes, you somehow knew that Kuko's golden eyes were shining too. It seemed like he was the Master Sword at times. One of those times being right now. Kuko stabbed the sword in the air before slicing it in another angle. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes blinked as the raindrops started to drop over his eyes. It was throwing his vision off, and he didn't like it that much. If he was going to be the chosen knight for The Princess of Hyrule, and the knight to fight off the reincarnation of malice and hatred/Calamity Ganon, then he needed to be the best at his assigned job. No matter how frustrating you could be with all of your wandering to study ancient devices, causing him to loose you. You blinked at the sky before looking down at the ground.
"Your path seems to mirror your father's."
The quiet sounds of Kuko's sword swinging in the air didn't stop as you spoke. That boy is so focused on finding the right fighting techniques that he wasn't really listening to you ramble.
"You've dedicated yourself to becoming a knight, as well."
Kuko's father, Shakku, used to be a knight for the kingdom. He actually used to be the King's special knight too. Just like how Kuko is your assigned knight. But after a battle with a hoard of monsters, Shakku had to retire and soon became a monk that taught the children in Kakariko Village the history of the Gods and Goddesses. You wonder if Kuko may also take that path too if he ever gets injured so much that he has to quit being a knight. He doesn't seem so much like a monk because of his dirty-mouthed attitude, but you saw him with the elders and children one time when you two travelled to Kakariko to see his father. He spoke with the elders and reminded them to get to their prayers before their late, and told the children stories that were actually history lessons of the Gods and Goddesses. Though, despite being great with elders and children and knowing so much about prayers and Gods, Kuko is much like a demon. Whenever you were discovered at a shrine or a historic relic after Kuko has spent hours searching for you, he would bicker at you and threaten to tell the king on you. It may seem a little childish on telling the king on you, but even your father doesn't like it when you go travel alone and leave Kuko to find you. The entire reason why you have Kuko as your knight is so that he has to follow you and protect you, but you disregard that and continue your traveling alone. Kuko constantly swung his sword in the air with what seemed like frustration rising in his eyes.
