The Source of My Strength

Chapter 6

"Ok, then let the match begin" right after hearing these words from Aizawa, Izuku and Bakugo charge at each other. Both with a gameplan. Bakugo starts with his usual right hook to throw Izuku off, but as Izuku reaches for it Bakugo hangs his left and down and makes a medium sized explosion at Izukus feet. Izuku then jumps from the smoke and retreats back to think of a new plan.

Damn, he really got me with that, oh we-

Bakugo charges at him as fast as possible making it so that Izuku can't think. Izuku then charges One for All at 10% and runs at Bakugo.

If I use anything over 15% then the air pressure could effect the others, I need to focus on using under 15% when running but switching when the time is right.

Bakugo goes for another attack but Izuku dodges it and goes for a spinning heel kick. Bakugo then grabs Izukus leg and begins to use his explosions to propel them, making them spin. And when the speed peaked Bakugo throws Izuku towards the wall that the students are not near. "X-CATAPULT!" Bakugo yells the name of the move as Izuku slams into the wall then falls to the ground. Izuku tries to get off the ground and looks up the see Bakugo has his hands close together and sees sparks come from his hands.

"THIS WILL FINISH YOU! YA DAMN LOSER!" Bakugo yells as a huge explosion like the one at the sports festival was shot out from his hands. But just in time, Izuku powers 30% of One for All into his leg and kicks upwards, making the wind redirect the blast towards the ceiling.

Kacchan really isn't holding back. As I would expect. He sees me thinking as a threat and he also is taking advantage of the surrounding area so he can't hit the others. Smart. I need to figure out a way to take him out. If I can get in close enough without him catching my leg, I can hit him with my new special move.

Izuku now pushing Bakugo, goes for a quick sweep that is dodged by Bakugo who is now aiming an explosion down at Izuku. Bakugo sets off the explosion but Izuku dodged just in time. "STOP RUNNUNG YOU BASTARD!" Bakugo yelled while charging at Izuku. Bakugo then starts propelling himself with his explosions and goes in circles around Izuku. Bakugo goes fast enough to make a small tornado then stops propelling himself, letting the wind take him. He then fires a barrage of focused explosions making a type of bullet. "AP BARRAGE!" Bakugo yells hitting nearly every shot.

Each shot was aimed towards the lower half of Izuku making the shots hit the ground if they missed. The missed shots kept hitting up debris. "WHAT'S WRONG? NOT GONNA FIGHT BACK?! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN PUT A SCRATCH ON ME!" Bakugo yelled trying to get a fight out of Izuku.

Just a little more. I can take this. I think.

The wind that is carrying Bakugo then slows down, stopping the assault. Bakugo then windes up an Howitzers Impact. He begins spinning with his exploaions and starts flying towards Izuku.

Shit, if this hits me then I'm screwed. But he wouldn't use a move like this if someone were behind me so i can only assume that I'm near a wall. Once i dodge, I have to attack.

Bakugo flies towards Izuku with major speed. "IT'S OVER DEKU! HOWITZERS! IMPAAAAACT!" Bakugo yells as he puts an arm out and is about to explode Izuku but last second Izuku puts 45% into his legs and jumps as high and as fast as possible making Bakugo miss and hit the huge explosion into the wall.

Now's my chance.

Izuku then uses black whip to pull Bakugo towards him and kicks Bakugo with 20%. Throwing him into the ground. He then retracts black whip and extends it again and uses it to pick up as much debris as possible and throws it into the air.

"I learned this one from Uraraka!" he yells as lots of debris begins falling on top of the two. Izuku then charges and jumps from debris to debris, looking like Gran Torino. Then he gets close to Bakugo and attempts a spinning kick to the head. Bakugo, who is now fatigued from all the special moves he used, can't do anything but dodge so he moves his head back making it so Izuku barley misses. But at the last second Izuku focuses 60% of One for All into his heel, blasting Backugo in the face with all the air pressure, point blank. "LOUISIANA SMAAAAASH!" Izuku yells making Bakugo fly back into the crowd but before he could reach anyone, Izuku grabs him using black whip and throws Bakugo into the wall.

That put a lot of strain onto my heel but it isn't broken. I really hope that last move finished it because I don't know how much I have left in me.

Bakugo begins to stand up. "If you think this is over then you really are dumb. I'm. Just getting warmed up." Bakugo says panting trying to catch his breath.

"Sir? We should end this before they kill each other." Ochako asks Aizawa trying to avoid seeing Izuku get any more hurt. "Not yet, these two still have some fight in them. It ends if one gives up, passes out, or takes it too far." Aizawa said trying to hold himself back from stopping it, but he had to keep it going because he promised All Might he would. Ochako then begins to watch the fight again getting more and more worried.

"Look at you Kachan. You can barley stand, I think it's over." Izuku said hoping to avoid any further fighting. "IF YOU THINK I'M OUT OF MOVES THEN YOU'RE EVEN DUMBER THAN I THOUGHT DEKU!" After Bakugo yelled, he began charging Izuku.

Here it comes. My heel hurts so bad, I think it's sprained. I have no choice but to counter. But I can't kick. I have to punch. I'll use my left arm to avoid further damage to my right arm.

Izuku stood in his stance, waiting for backugo to get closer, then jumps into the air towards Bakugo.

This is like when we fought before. Except I'm going to win this time.

Bakugo sees Izuku pull back his fist and goes to counter thinking it'll be like last time. Izuku then goes for a quick 12% kick and catches Bakugo off guard, connecting with the kick, Izuku then spins around and punches Bakugo with a 25% Detroit smash. Sending Bakugo back towards the wall, slamming him into it. Knocking Bakugo out cold.

Izuku lands and hears the words he never thought he'd hear. "Izuku won, bakugo is out." All Might said, very proud of the kid. Everyone runs to Izuku to congratulate him. "Great job Deku, I knew you could do it! Also what was that cool move you did? It looked like he dodged your kick but then he flies back like he got hit. It was so cool!" Ochaco said praising Izuku. As everyone is congratulating him, he then feels his injuries and passes out.

A few hours pass and Izuku begins to wake up. "Where. Where am I?" Izuku questions opening his eyes looking into the bright light. "In recovery girls office dumb ass." A familiar voice told him. "Kacchan? Oh right, we fought huh?" As the memories come flooding back Izuku remembers that he actually won. "That really was a great fight Kachan, I almo-" Izuku was cut off by Bakugo. "Don't patronize me you damn nerd. You fought well, but remember that I will pass you again. This isn't a reason to look down on me either! I'll win next time, I promise! Now get to bed or shut up. I'm tired." Bakugo says then passes out immediately.

Kacchan really has grown so much. I'm happy we're starting to get along.

Izuku looks to his right to see two notes on the desk next to him. One read "Deku, you did amazing and I am very happy that you won! I want to talk to you though. So can you head to my room as soon as you get better? Thanks! -Ochaco"

Hm, weird. What could she want I wonder?

The second letter is from All Might. It read. "Young Midoriya, you did great. I am very happy with your growth and I'm sorry i can't be there right now to talk to you, it got pretty late. I will talk to you when I can.
-All Might"

That's nice. I hope we talk again soon All Might.

Izuku puts the two letters down and turns over, finally going to bed and hoping he can leave tomorrow. Although, as he falls asleep, he has a strange dream.
