Chapter 20

I wonder who wrote this letter. I hope it's important.

Izuku made it to behind the dorms after dark but as he turned the corner. He saw no one. "Hello?" He asked hoping someone would respond. "I wonder if I'm early." Izuku said to himself. He decided to wait for a few minutes before leaving.

They better hurry up, I wanted to get up a little earlier to get a good jog in.

Suddenly Izuku received a text. As he checked his phone he noticed it was from Ochaco. "Goodnight Deku! See you tomorrow!"

Ochaco is so sweet. I should respond to her.

"Night Ochaco!" He sent the response then suddenly a purple ball falls onto Izukus phone trapping his thumbs on the phone.

This ball, it's gotta be from-

Izuku looked up to see a familiar short pervert using his balls to keep himself on the wall above Izuku. "Well well well, if it isn't Midoriya. You have a lot of explaining to do!" Mineta said to Izuku. "Are you the one that wrote the letter Mineta?" Izuku asked. "Yes. Yes I am." Mineta said while jumping off the wall.

I wonder what he wants.

~~~Ochaco POV~~~

I still wanna see Deku? I know we said goodnight but should I go to his room and say it?

Ochaco decided to not go and instead went to her balcony and heard slight voices in the distance. She leaned over her balcony to find where it's coming from and saw Izuku and Mineta.

It's Deku! I should head down to see him. I don't want to interrupt them though. I'll head down and wait till they're done talking.

~~~Izukus POV~~~

"So Midoriya, I need you to explain something to me." Mineta said. "Yeah, what's up?" Izuku asked confused. "What is it like to see Uraraka naked?!" Mineta asked surprising Izuku.

What does he mean see her naked?

"What are you talking about Mineta?" Izuku asked getting more and more flustered. "You huys have had sex right? Tell me about it Midoriya!" Mineta said making Izuku extremely uncomfortable.  "W-w-we h-ha-" Izuku tried to let the words out but couldn't.

What's he even talking about. Mineta seems insane.

"Come on Midoriya! Tell me!" Mineta begged. "N-no, I mean. We haven't done anything likt that. We've only been together for a month!" Izuku said finally getting composed. "What do you mean? Of course you've done something! That's what couples do, right?" Mineta asked not understanding what couples actually do.

Is he serious?

"What? No. Cou-" Izuku was cut off by a familiar voice. "Hey you two! It's time for bed! And same with you Ochaco! I know you're over there." Aizawa said and Ochaco appeared from behind the wall with a guilty expression. "O-Ochaco?!" Izuku said realizing she probably heard the conversation.

Did she hear what Mineta was saying? How long has she been standing there?

"Hey Deku." Ochaco said with red covering her face. "All of you upstairs and to bed now! It's curfew." Aizawa said heading back inside. Mineta used his balls to climb back up to his room to avoid confrontation by Izuku or Ochaco about the conversation. And Izuku and Ochaco went back upstairs in complete silence afraid to bring up what just happened.

Eventually the two made it back into their rooms.

~~~Ochacos POV~~~

Is what Mineta said true? Are couples supposed to do that stuff? Maybe that's why Izuku has been stressed lately? Maybe I can do something about it, but what? Should I do what Mineta was talking about? I just don't know, I don't think I'm ready.

~~~Izukus POV~~~

A few days pass and Ochaco tries to stay at Izukus room a few times but he turns it down everytime. Izuku is getting more and more distant to the point where they barely even hold hands.

The two are going back to the dorms after the last meeting before the raid tomorrow. "Hey Deku, are you ok?" Ochaco asked. Izuku just looked down and thought for a second.

"Yeah, just nervous. Ochaco, you wanna stay at my dorm for tonight?" Izuku asked and Ochacos eyes lit up but then she got flustered and he cheeks went a little red. "Of course Deku. Wh-what did you want to do?" She asked. "I just wanted to spend the night with you before our big mission." Izuku said giving her a obviously forced smile.

The two make it back to the dorms and Ochaco goes upstairs to get ready for her night with Izuku. And Izuku ran into his half and half friend. "Hey Midoriya, how are you feeling about tomorrow?" Todoroki asked Izuku.

"I'm, worried. Not just me but everyone else. Including the heroes in the raid team and Ochaco." Izuku said looking down. "Well, Uraraka isn't fighting. So she should be fine." Todoroki said not quite understanding his worry.

"I know. But last time, Shigaraki just up and left the fight with Endeavor to fight someone else. Who says he won't do that this time?" Izuku said. "I'd say don't worry about it. I believe that you can take out Shigaraki." Todoroki said. "I- yeah, maybe." Izuku said looking down. "Well, I got to go. I'll see you around Todoroki." Izuku said walking towards the elevator.

Later in the night Izuku and Ochaco are  watching a movie together. And kissing. Later the kissing turns into making out. But Izuku pulls back. "What's wrong Deku?" Ochaco asked. "Nothing it's just, we haven't done this. Why did you want to now?" Izuku asked. "Don't worry about that. This is for you." Ochaco said with an embarrassed look on her face.

A few seconds later Ochaco pushed Izuku down and went to get on Izukus lap before he stopped her. "Ochaco, what are you doing?" Izuku asked. "We-well, I figured that since you've been so stressed lately, I could try to help you destress by. By um. Having s-sex with you." Ochaco said with a very red face. "Ochaco, what makes you think that's what I want?" Izuku asked making Ochaco confused. "I thought that's what couples do." Ochaco said remembering what Mineta said.

"No, Mineta is just a perv that thinks that. It's not true. We don't have to do that until we're ready for it." Izuku said. "O-ok, but, wh-what am I supposed to do to help you stop stressed about the raid?" Ochaco asked making Izuku get a little annoyed. "You can't do anything." Izuku said with a slightly cold tone.

"But Deku, I want to help you. I need you to be happy again!" Ochaco said getting more and more worried. "Ochaco, can we please stop talking about this." Izuku said starting to stand up. "But Deku. What is actually bothering you?" Ochaco asked making Izuku annoyed. "Shigaraki." He said.

"But I know that you ca-" Ochaco was cut off by Izuku. "That I can beat him, right? Wrong. You don't understand. No one does. Shigaraki is immensely powerful! What if, what if he goes after me? Or even worse. The civilians or you. If that happens, what am I supposed do? He is too strong Ochaco! I can't stop him and knowing this is tearing me up inside! I know that to be a hero I have to face this but I can't. I am more scared than you know!" Izuku said finally blowing up with the pent up rage and fear he's had instore.

"De-" before Ochaco can say his name Izuku ran into the bathroom and slammed the door. Leaving Ochaco there lost for words. The rest of the night Izuku just slept on the floor and the two were in silence. Not a word was spoken since.

Until it was finally the day of the raid.
