Chapter 43

2 weeks until Izukus birthday

~~~Ochacos POV~~~

A week has gone by since Izuku caught Mineta peeping on Ochaco and everything seemingly went back to normal.

During the weekend the female classmates decided to go shopping together at the mall so they all set out together.

"Hey Ochaco, what did you plan to get Midoriya for his birthday, ribbit?" Asui asked. "Yeah, I've been wondering that too." Momo added on.

"Hmmmm, I'm not really sure. Maybe something hero related." Ochaco said while thinking about it. "What about an All Might statue or something?" Jirou said trying to give ideas.

"No, he practically has every form of All Might merch you can think off." The girls kept trying to decide until they finally reached the mall.

Maybe I can get him something he can put on his hero costume.

"Ok girls, that's enough of that. Let's just have a girls day! And we can help Ochaco find a gift while we're at it!" Momo said, excited to shop.

"Yeah!" The rest of the girls said in unison.

The group walked around looking at clothes and accessories and decided to take a break and get some lunch, so they all headed to the food court. Once everyone got food, they all went to sit down.

"So Ochaco, whats Midoriya doing anyway?" Toru asked "oh, he's training with Bakugo. Those two have seriously gotten along recently." Ochaco responded, giving everyone a look of surprise on their faces.

"Him and Bakugo? You sure Midoriya is ok?" Momo asked. "Yeah, he's fine. He is the strongest in the class after all." Ochaco said subtlety bragging about her dating the number 1 in class 2-A.

"You've got to be joking. My Tod- I mean, Todoroki can beat Midoriya anyday." Momo said. "He even beat Midoriya in the sports festival, remember?" She finished, making Ochaco laugh.

"Todoroki isn't even stronger than Bakugo, let alone Izuku." Ochaco said. "And the sports festival was so long ago, Izuku has gotten so much stronger since then. Did you forget that he doesn't break his bones anymore? And he's a lot faster now." She finished and a few of the girls nodded in agreement.

"I don't know Ochaco, Momo might be right." Toru said, placing her side. "What do you mean? Ochaco is obviously right." Mina said, starting a civil war as all the girls started saying who was stronger. Though the majority picked Izuku.

"So Momo, how are you and Todoroki doing?" Ochaco asked after the civil war was settled. "Wh-what do you mean?" Momo asked, now blushing.

"Don't play dumb, I saw you two kissing when we came back from the summer training." Ochaco said, making Momo panic but then accept her fate. "We're good. Thank you for asking." She responded, defeated.

The girls continued their shopping until Ochaco looked into a store and stopped.

That's it! That's what I'll get Deku!

"Why did you stop Ochaco?" Momo asked as the girls all turned to see what she was looking at. "I know what you're thinking, and I absolutely love it." Mina said, now very excited.

The girls went into the shop and ordered Izukus gift. Then finished their day of shopping and headed back to the dorms.

On the way back, the girls talked about normal things such as classes and and school in general until the topic of the league of villains came up.

"With Shigaraki getting so strong, I wonder who will be able to take him out." Momo said, starting the topic of who will beat Shigaraki.

"Yeah, and with All Might gone, the only hero who stands a chance is Endeavor, but he lost the last time he tried to fight Shigaraki." Mina added on.

What happened the last time Deku fought Shigaraki? He and Bakugo were able to hold him back a little, right?

"Do you think one of us will have to do it?" Ochaco asked the group. "What do you mean? Ribbit." Tsuyu asked. "Well, the last raid, Deku and Bakugo fought Shigaraki because he knocked out mr. Aizawa and Endeavor. So if that were to happen again, would someone from UA have to stop him?"

The girls all began to think for a Momo until Momo broke the silence. "Honestly, I hope none of us have to go through that until we become pros, we aren't ready for something like that right now so all we can do is train and hope the next time we face them is when we are pros."

"Yeah, but they won't wait that long so all we really can so is train and wait till the next raid." Ochaco said, concerned for the future.

The girls were silent for a while until they reached the dorms, where they said their goodbyes and went to their respective rooms except for Ochaco, who went to Izukus room.

She walked in and saw that Izuku wasn't there so she put down her stuff and went out to the balcony. She looked down and saw Izuku training with Bakugo still. He was dodging Bakugos attacks and attempting to learn how to counter attack better.

Deku, I'm excited for our future. But I hope you are never in a position to fight Shigaraki again, I can't afford to lose you.
