I enter the class and realize that I'm not very late since the teacher is yet to come but I wasn't right on time either so...whatever.
I walk to the last bench on one of the corners by the window and notice that a few jobless people are starting at me. Again.
Ughh!!!
"Very irritated are we? Considering it's your first day? The hell is yet to come girl."
I was startled from the sudden voice and looked up only to come across the same pink girl. She was the same girl who showed me the reception moments ago. I don't know her name yet so don't blame me when I call her pink girl.
"It's annoying when they watch every goddamn move you make, ughh." I reply with a scowl and she hummed back in reply
"I'm new too." she said
Wow so now she wants to continue the conversation? Okay then.
"Ahh, of course you are but unlike some people here, you decided to join on time?" I replied with a slight grin
She laughs and says, "My name's Grace Walker. What about you?"
"I'm she-who-must-not-be-named, would you like to be the next person I murder?" I say with a chuckle so she knows I'm joking
And now she is just laughing her arse off.
"Kelly. Kelly Kent." I say when her laugh died down
"Nice to meet you." she says with an eye to eye smile
"Likewise." I reply with a sly one
She was about to say something but our teacher entered and started off with talking that sounded like blah blah blah.
Now see, I like studying but I'm more of a self study person, the only reason I come to school is because if I don't, they won't pass me. They have this stupid rule that says, 'you cannot be promoted to the next academic year unless you have minimum attendance that is required'.
Idiots and their idiotic rules I tell you!
"Pass me your schedule." Grace said out of nowhere and it sure did not sound a request so I just passed it to her
"Girl, you don't have to worry about being alone anymore because you've quite a few classes with me and/or the other girls, but you are gonna be lonely for a couple of them too." she said ending with a sigh
Hah! As if being alone was a problem.
"Other girls?" I questioned
"Oh yeah, they are the people I made friends with in the past couple of days. They are all amazing. You will love them. I'll introduce you to them during lunch" she said with delight in her eyes accompanied with a grin
So she is now going to make me make more friends??
Isn't that going to violate my rules of not being friendly to people.
And then I realize she was waiting for a reply so I said, "yeah of course, can't wait to meet them."
I had a few other classes before lunch, 2 with Grace and 2 without her.
We had the class before lunch with each other so we stuck with walking to the cafeteria together after the class was over.
