"AND WHEN WE'RE YOU PLANNING TO TELL US?" the girls scream all at once
Oh boy!
The girls legit drag me away from the boys and stand shoulder to shoulder opposite to me.
"Today?" I reluctantly answer more like question because I myself wasn't sure when I would've told them if the topic hadn't come up
"As if!" GG said rolling her eyes
"BUT WE MADE PLANS FOR A PARTY!" Nat and Ly exclaim
"Then it's a good thing I'm not gonna be here, isn't it?" I say and they roll their eyes at me
"Why all of a sudden though?" Jo asks in all seriousness
Now what do I tell them? Shite!
"Family wanted to see me." I say coolly
They all hum in answer and we leave it at that.
"Wanna get ice-cream?" I ask sheepishly
"I WILL KILL YOU!" they scream at once while I just grin
"LET'S GET SOME ICE-CREAM KIDDOS!!" I screamed when we neared the guys
"Yuhoo!!!" Aiden cheered and we hi-5ed while the others just rolled their eyes at me
I was kinda surprised to see the guys waiting for us to come back but well, here they are.
I look around only to find out that Matt isn't here.
"Where's Mr. I-am-the-best?" I ask referring to Matt
"He had some work so he left." Jayden says slinging an arm around my shoulder
"Ice-cream?" I ask ignoring the urge to ask about what work Matt had that he didn't wait for us
He doesn't have to wait for you. My conscience spoke
Whatever.
"What if we say we don't want it?" Zeke questioned
"Well I'll tell you guys to piss off and go grab an ice-cream for myself. Alone." I answer with a grin
"Of course you'd do that." Zeke says chuckling
Did Zeke just act friendly with me?
Guess he did.
"Excuse me? Ice-cream's priority!" I say, my grin not slipping a tad bit
"LEGGO!!!" Jayden announces linking his arm with mine

"So now tell me the real reason as to why you're going to Florida?" Jayden asks me as we grab our order of ice-creams and walk towards the others
"Kitty wants to see me." I sigh
"Ahh, I miss that cutie." Jay says
"Who's missing who?" a voice says from behind us
Jay and I turn around only to be met by,
Matthew freakin Knight.
"Hell's missing you." I deadpan
"Oh right, your friends from back there say hi." he snaps and I just roll my eyes at him and turn around to walk
"What's up with you two?" I hear Jayden ask Matt
"He just can't stand a person who despises him." I say and walk away
"As if!" I hear him scream just so that I hear him
Arsehole.
"Yum yum.." I say licking my ice cream
"Dude let the ice-cream melt!" Aiden exclaims at Ryder out of nowhere
"And why would I do that?" Ryder questions
"Because we need more fluids in our body." Aiden says in a 'duh' tone
"Ahh it makes sense." Ryder says, thoughtfully
"You guys need some serious help." I say while everybody nods their heads in agreement
"That would be the first thing I agree with precious on." Matt says
"Why do you always have to but-in every time I speak?" I ask him annoyed
I know that comment of mine was uncalled for but this guy's existence annoys me.
"Why do you always have to reply to my comments?" he snaps
"Shut it you two!" Jayden exclaims while Matt and I just huff and slunk into our respective seats
Suddenly Boom Clap by Charli XCX starts playing and I realize it was my phone ringing.
The ID said 'mom' so I picked it up.
"Hey mum." I say answering the call
"Hi baby." she sobs into the call
"What's wrong?" I ask getting up from my seat and walk a little away from the group so they don't listen to what I talk
"Your dad is sick. It's nothing serious but I really wish you were here. I'm sorry I'm bothering you. You must have a lot of other things to think of and here I'm-" she rambles but I cut her off
"Mom mom, relax. Family always comes first remember? I'm flying to Florida tonight. See you in a few hours mom." I say
"Thank you so much sweetie." she says
"There's nothing to thank me for mom. I'm doing what I'm supposed to do." I tell her then we bid our goodbyes
"Everything alright, squirt?" I hear Jayden ask so turn to face him
"Umm ya, sort off. I guess?"
"What's wrong?" he asks again
"Dad's sick. Nothing serious but I'm flying to Florida tonight. I was going to go anyways and now I have one more reason." I tell him
"You want me to come along?" he offers
"Jay, you just rejoined school, I don't think you can afford any more leaves." I say chuckling
"True that." he chuckles and we start walking towards the others
"Can we boycott them or something?" I say to Jayden when I see some people at our table
