It's been a fortnight since the day when Jay and I went to the ice cream parlor.
I was right about the situation between GG and Jay. Jack had forcefully kissed GG and she had pushed him immediately but Jay missed that part. Jack had lied to Jay about GG and him sleeping together. Jay was really guilty about not confronting GG but at the end they both sorted everything out and they are now finally dating! All of us literally wanted to go punch Jack for forcefully kissing GG but she stopped us coz exams were near and she didn't want any drama. We left Jack with a verbal warning with a single punch from Jay and left the matter there.
Our exams were finally over and it's been 3 days since Summer vacation has started.
The girls and I decided to meet up at the café at least twice a week during the whole summer so we can all catch up and the guys joined our agreement too.
I was going to go to Florida for summer but it turns out that my dad needed a surgery and so I suggested them that they should come here and get dad treated in Abu Dhabi. They come here today evening.
The surgery wasn't that major and could've been done in Florida but I wanted my parents to take a break from their hectic schedules and get some rest.
I was asleep when my phone rang and I picked it up absentmindedly without looking at the caller ID.
"This better be important." I snap in my sleepy voice
"Hello to you too, precious." I hear the person on the other side speak
Precious?
Only one person calls me that.
"Matt?" I ask, just to confirm
"One n only." I can practically hear him grin as he speaks
"Why on earth are you calling me this early in the morning?" I ask, annoyed
"Morning? It's 3 in the afternoon, precious." he says chuckling
"Shit, for real?" I speak to myself but guess he heard it too
"Open your apartment door. I'm standing outside." he says, surprising me
"I swear if you're joking, I will kill you." I threaten as I climb down the stairs and walk towards the door
"Just open the damn door, precious." he says and I know he's smiling from his voice
I open the door of my apartment only to see none other than Matthew Knight himself, standing in front of me looking as god like as ever.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I ask
"Are you even going to let me in?" he says, chuckling
"Yeah right, sorry." I say, embarrassed and move aside so he can come in
I close the door and walk to my couch and lay down with a 'hmph' sound. I was still very much sleepy.
"I'm asking again, what the hell are you doing here?" I mumble into the pillow but clear enough for him to hear it
"I texted and called you like a million times but then you didn't reply so I got worried and came here. And thank god you finally heard your phone ring and picked it up. I almost broke your door" he says
"I was in a deep slumber. I was up late yesterday, reading. And I would've killed you if you'd broken my door" I tell him and a yawn escapes my mouth
"Come on, get up sleepy head." he says trying to pull me up
"Lemme sleep!" I whine
"Wasn't your family gonna fly here today?" he says
"Yeah but they come home at 5." I inform him
"It's 3:30 already, precious." he says, chuckling
"Oh crap! I need to get ready, I'm supposed to pick them up from the airport!" I exclaim and run to my room to get ready

I get dressed and walk into the kitchen to eat or drink something to fill up my tummy.
