I reach the health care center, put on the uniform and start working.
Since I'm new here and am still a high school student, I cannot take up my personal patients therefore David said I would assist the doctors here in order to gain experience.
The thing that makes me love this job is, I love what I get to do and this also looks good on my college resume.
It's a sort of two goals with one shot kinda situation.
I was taking a blood sample of a patient when Takeaway by Illenium and The Chainsmokers starts playing.
I look at my phone to see who's calling me at this hour and my phone flashes 'Aiden'.
Why is he calling me?
"Kellyyyy!!!!!" he screams as soon as I pick up and his voice was so freakin loud that I had to take the phone away from my ears
"What do you want, Ay? I'm working." I ask, bringing the phone back to my ears
"How rude of you? Don't you miss me?" he explains while I roll my eyes
"We say each other two hours ago." I state
"Does that have to mean that we can't miss each other?" he says in a baby voice
"Go annoy your girlfriend, Ay. I'm working." I say, irritated
Then I hear a few muffled voices in the background.
"Where do you work exactly?" Aiden asks after the muffled voices quite down
"David's health care center down the same street as our school, why?" I say
"Oh okay. When does your shift get over?" he asks
"In two hours, why?" I ask confused as to why he is asking so many questions
"Oh nothing. Just asking. Bye Kelly. Miss you." he says and hangs up the call leaving me utterly confused
"Weirdo" I mutter shaking my head and get back to work

It's been two hours since Aiden's call and my shift is over.
I wrap up my stuff and walk to David's office to let him know that I'm done for the day and that I'm leaving.
"May I come in Mr. David?" I ask as I knock on the door of his office
"Come in." he says and I go in
"I just came to let you know that I'll be leaving now." I informed him
"Alright, kid. Also, good job today. You did amazing for someone who's just a high school student." he praises
"Thank you Mr. David. I wouldn't have been able to experience this without you giving me a chance." I say honestly being grateful to him for giving me a chance to work
"You deserve it, kid." he says parting my head
"I'll be back tomorrow. Same time." I let him know
"Of course." he says with a smile and I leave
I grab my bag and phone and walk out of the clinic.
I step outside the door only to be left utterly shocked.
"The hell?" I mutter, shocked
