"Can we boycott them or something?" I say to Jayden when I see some people at our table
"I wish we could." he sighs
"I see we have some uninvited guests here." I say
"Shut up bitch." Ashley snaps at me
"Make me." I dare, glaring at her
"You're such a desperate bitch." she says
"Well news flash, I ain't mirror babe." I say with a smirk while the others hoot
To my surprise even Matt and Zeke hoot in my support.
"Matty-baby, why are you supporting this fatty." Ashley whines in a fake and annoying baby voice, pointing at me
"Excuse me?" I say with a pointed tone
"You're just a desperate fat bitch who's trying to steal my boyfriend and is trying to grab everyone's attention. How can you even think any of the guys would like you? You're an ugly duckling that even makeup can't fix." she spits
"Ashley, you have no fucking right to say anything like that to our friend she's-" Ly starts but I cut her off
"Hey Ly, it's alright. It doesn't even matter what she says. I'm gonna go home now. I've packing to do." I say gulping down the lump in my throat and leave, not waiting for anybody's response
It not who said that hurt me, it's more like what she said.
I thought body shaming didn't hurt me anymore.
I really don't want to think about it right now.
"Jayden, you don't have to follow me. I'm fine." I say when I here footsteps following me
"Last time I checked, I wasn't your cousin, precious." the voice makes me snap my head towards the person who spoke
"Why are you even here? Don't you have a booty-call to attend or something?" I huff at Matt
"I just wanted to check on you. You left suddenly." he says using every word carefully
"Well I said I'm fine, didn't I?" I snap, annoyed
"Does it have anything to do with what Ashley said back there?" he asks, sounding genuine
"Yeah because a B calling me fat will hurt me. As if." I say
It did hurt you though, didn't it? My conscience says but I ignore it.
"You know you can talk to me right?" he says softly
"Don't you think we'd be the last ones to share our problems with each other?" I snap
"See, I know I'm a dick but I'm here if you need anything." he says sharply and leaves
The guy never fails to surprise me.
And he sure is bipolar.
While I was on my way to my apartment, I saw a clinic that had the sign 'Hiring' so I thought I'd check it out.
"Hey, I umm.. Saw the sign outside.." I say awkwardly pointing at the sign on the door
"Oh yeah, we are hiring. I'll go get the manager for you." the lady behind the desk says
I take this time to look around the place.
It sure has the hospital smell that I so love.
I've always wanted to be a doctor and what better chance to get some experience in the field will I ever get again right?
"Hello, young lady. Myself, David. How can I help you?" a middle aged man in a suit asks and forwards his hand for a shake
"Hi, I'm Kelly and I just wanted to know if you're still hiring." I say shaking his hand
"We certainly are. Could you possibly be carrying your school records?" he asks while I nod and hand him the papers
I have been looking for jobs for a while now so I keep my school records and grades handy with me.
And of course they are going to check my school grades, it's a medical clinic after all. They need to know if I'm qualified for the job or not.
"Pretty impressive records if I must say so myself. You're hired, kid." he finally says with an impressed look
"Really? Thank you so much." I say
This was literally like the prequel to my dream job!!
"When do you want to start, kid?" he asks
"Next week?" I ask
"Sure. Here's my card. Call me when you want to start so I can provide you your schedule." he says handing me a card
"Sure, thank you." I say and leave the clinic

It's been hours since I left the clinic and came to my apartment.
I just finished packing and am now heading to the airport for my flight back to Florida.
I was sitting at the waiting area for the flight when I heard my phone ring and the caller ID said 'home'.
"Hey sweetie." I say picking up the call knowing it was Kitty
"You comin today?" she asks in a cute voice
"About to enter the flight, baby." I say with a grin
"Really!! Ohh my God!! I'm so excited!!" she screams into the phone and I can literally hear her jumping
"Okay, I got to go, but I'll be beside you in a couple hours." I tell her
"That's okay sissy. Bye!" she says and hangs up
