"Let's go, precious." Matt says softly and grabs my hand to stand up to leave

"Wait." I tell him and make him sit back down and he looks in my eyes in confusion

"Sir, Matt might choose to stay silent about this but I cannot, not when I know that the complete story is not known to you. I have immense respect for you and Bree but you both are wrong here and I cannot choose to be quiet about this because I know that you are not aware about the second part of the story. Sir, there are two sides to a coin but you have already made your judgement about Matt's dreams when you only know one side of the story." I tell them politely and give Matt's hand a reassuring squeeze before continuing, "Matt knows how valuable the company and your dream for Matt to expand it is for you but he also knows that he cannot give up his own dreams to fulfill yours. Matt values the company just as much as you do and that is exactly why he has found a solution by which he wouldn't let you down and also work on his own dreams and goals." I look at Matt to see him already staring at me and Robert and Bree seem to attentively listen to me too and so I continue, "He wants to become an architect but your company deals with industries and technology only at the moment so he wants to start up a part of the company that deals with architecture. He would still take over the company after you and expand it to the levels that the company cannot even dream of. He knows that adding up another sector to the company will reach it to great heights. He does not want to abandon the company, he only wants it to reach new levels. He wants to work for the betterment of the company. He knows that you have made the company extremely successful with your shier hard work and dedication and he wishes to follow the same with his own additions to it. This was his plan all along." I complete and look at Robert and Bree utterly surprised

"Why didn't you tell us?" Robert asks Matt, recovering from the bomb I just blasted

"He would've if you showed the interest and let him speak." I snap, without meaning to, it just happened

"What is that supposed to mean?" Bree asks

"Well Matt has been trying to talk to you both for a long time now. He just said that every time he tried telling you, you never let him complete. I'm really sorry I'm interfering in the personal family matters but sir, if you made Matt believe that you would support and stand by him no matter what decision he made, maybe you would've been the first person he came to when he was planning all this. Sir, I have never met someone so dedicated and determined as him and I am a thousand percent sure that if Matt had his way with The Knight Industries, your company would know no bounds. I have never seen that light in his eyes that comes when he talks about his plans for the company and making you and Bree proud." I say and look into Matt's eyes to see him looking at me with an unknown emotion and a soft smile on his lips

"Can you excuse us for a minute, Kelly?" Robert asks me

"Of course. Thank you very much for the dinner. The food was delicious." I say and get up to leave

"Wait in my room, I wanna talk to you later." Matt says in a dead serious tone

Did I do something wrong?

I knew I spoke too much.

Ugh Kelly! Why did you have to interrupt in their family matter?

Is Matt mad at me for speaking like this to his mom and dad?

"Umm Okay." I say and leave to Matt's room
