The dinner was over, the dishes were done and now we were all set for the movies to begin.
Jay and I grabbed the blankets and pillows while Matt and kitty brought out the crisps and drinks. Dad and Sam put up the movies and went and cozied up with their respective better halves.
Matt was still ignoring me for some unknown reason. I'd tried asking him a lot of times but he would walk away the moment I started speaking.
Ugh! What's wrong with this guy?
"I'm gonna go and get the popcorns." I told to no-one in particular and went to the kitchen
I came back and placed the popcorns on the table beside all the other food and searched for an empty seat.
Oh just my luck! The only seat empty was beside Matt on the couch.
Yay? Not.
"What are we watching?" I ask as I hesitantly take a seat beside Matt who was fully engrossed in his phone so I don't think he noticed me yet
"To all the boys I've loved before." Jay says with a groan
"Why again are we watching a teen romance on a family movie night?" I ask mum and Jen
"We just felt like we wanted to relive those good old high school romance." mum says with a grin
"Please Elly, I wanna watch it too." kitty says from the loveseat that she was lying on
"I'm fine with watching anything my baby wants to watch." I say and kiss kitty's forehead and coming and sitting beside Matt again
I see a little ghost of smile on Matt's face looking at me but as soon as he realizes that I'm looking at him, he turns to the TV with a blank expression.

"I've already watched the movie and I know the starting to I'm gonna go and change into something comfy." I say and go to my room

I go back to the living room and sit beside Matt who looks up as I come and his eyes travel down my outfit and I could swear I saw him visibly gulp.
"Can I kiss all the elephants and the person who's wearing them?" he whispers huskily in my ears and my eyes widen and what he said
I look around to see if anyone heard him but everybody was busy watching the movie.
I turn to look at Matt only to find his face dangerously close to mine.
