"HOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW ABOUT THIS?" I scream in excitement
"Calm down, precious." Matt says chuckling
Damn the smile!
"Seriously though, I've been coming to this place for ages now and I never knew about this paradise. How did you find it out?" I ask now calmly
"I'm the only one who knows this place, well now you do too but yeah." he answers
"Who told you?" I ask with the curiosity rising
"The owner is a friend of mine." he states as a matter of fact while I just hum in response
I take a brief look at the rooftop that is so well arranged.
It looks so peaceful since no one but Matt and I is here. It's like a mini heaven.
Guess I've got a new favorite place now, huh?
"Come on, let's get started." Matt says taking a seat on the couch
"Sure." I say sitting down opposite to him
"And just so you stay prepared, I hate biology so you'll have to deal with me pissing off, a lot." he says
"A, it's not like I haven't dealt with a pissed Matt earlier, trust me I've had my share of practice." I say with a smirk and he rolls his eyes at me
"and B, you legit are second in every class we have." I state the fact
"That's the thing, I'm second and who's first? You. The only class I top is Physics and that's only because you hate it." he states and I just roll my eyes
"Someone's jealous." I state with a playful smile
"As if." he rolls his eyes but his lips are curved into a small smile
His lips, yum.
Shut up Kelly!
"Let's get started?" I ask
"Let's just get it over with." he huffs
"I swear your hatred for bio is more than your hatred for me." I say chuckling but stop because his face shows that he didn't find it funny
"I don't hate you, precious." he says softly with a tint of amusement in his beautiful blue eyes
"You're still a jerk." I say with a playful smile
"Not ashamed." he states while his lips twitch up to form a small pleasant smile
I have no clue on what to reply so I just open our bio textbook and we start working.
By working I mean, him annoying the shit out of me and me doing all the work. Jerk.
"So any specific reason I am the only person besides you that knows this place?" I ask with the curiosity rising in me
"I figured you needed somewhere to escape from time to time." he says
"H-how did you know?" I thought I hid my loneliness quite well but this guy noticed something no one else ever did
"No idea." he says cool as if it's nothing
"Takes one to know one." I mutter but his eyes widen indicating he heard it
"We're done for today." he states coldly, slams his book shut and leaves, without even waiting for my reaction
