KELLY'S POV
I wake up with burning sensation on my cheeks and hurting eyes.
I slowly begin to take in my position and I find my arm around Matt's stomach and one of my legs on top of his while his arm is holding my waist.
I then recall the previously occurred events and the realization of Matt seeing me cry, again dawns me.
I quickly tear away my body from his and roll over to the other side of the bed. Away from him.
I look at him peacefully sleeping and it take everything in me to stop my hand from touches his face.
I quickly get up and rush to the bathroom before I end up doing something that I'll probably regret later.
"Good mornin." he greets as I step out of the bathroom
Morning? We slept the whole day and night?
This certainly feels like déjà vu.
"Mornin." I say
"You feelin better?" he asks getting up from the bed
"Yeah. Thank you for being here." I say, genuinely
"I'm always here when you want me to be here, precious." he says, making my heart do flips
"I'm gonna go make breakfast." I say and leave
How does the littlest of stuff that this guy does, makes my body do weird shit?
"What are we having?" he asks as he comes to the kitchen and sits on one of the chairs of the bar table
"Bacon." I say with a grin
"I love bacon!" he exclaims like a kid, making me chuckle
"Everyone loves bacon!" I exclaim the same way he did
"Want to talk about what happened?" he says, hesitantly
"I don't wanna spoil both our moods. Let's just chill now, yeah?" I say, not meeting his eyes
"Take your time, precious. I'm here when you wanna talk." he says so gently that my heart is thumping at the speed of a lightning bolt right now
"Wanna skip school today?" I offer
"Precious, you don't have to do this." he says, cautiously
"I'm not feeling like going to school today." I tell him
"Do you really want to skip school, precious or are you doing it to avoid Jayden?" he says
He hit the bullseye.
"I'm going to skip school. If you want, you can stay here or you can leave." I snap
I know I shouldn't snap at him after everything he did for me but I just can't help it. This guy gets on my nerves.
"Okay, I'll stay with you." he says with a sigh
Wow, he seriously wants to skip school and stay with me?
"Okay." I whisper so slow that I'm not sure if he even heard it
"Whatcha wanna do?" he asks, leaning back on his chair
"Wanna study biology?" I say
"Nope. No studying. We're gonna have a relax day today." he says, sternly
"You know we can't do that. The exams are in a few day." I tell him
"You're already done with the syllabus." he points out
"But-" I start to say but he cuts me off
"No excuses." he tells
"Fine! What do you wanna do?" I huff
"Go freshen up. We're going somewhere." he tells me
"Where?" I ask him
"You'll find out soon." he tells and pushes me up the stairs
I huff and go to my room to change into,

"We ready?" I ask as I climb down the stairs and walk towards Matt
His eyes meet mine and then travel down my outfit and I could swear I saw him visibly gulp. His eyes meet mine, again and I raise an eyebrow with a smirk complementing it.
"Yeah, let's go." he says after clearing his throat
"So this car and the house.. you must be pretty rich, huh?" I hesitantly ask him as we get inside the car and buckle up
What I actually wanted to ask was if his dad bought him all these but that would seem rude and I didn't want him to think that I understood him as someone who would live on his parents' money not that that was wrong but I knew Matt valued self respect just as much as I did.
"I know what you're thinking, precious and don't worry I won't judge you if you directly asked if I'm living on my parents' money or no." he says with a chuckle and I feel busted
How did he see right through me all the damn time!?
"Umm.. I didn't mean that... It's... umm... nothing... you don't have to answer it." I say, awkwardly
"It's okay, precious. You won't seem rude. At least to me." he says. laughing slightly
I stay quiet.
"All my things are bought by my own money. I refuse to use my parents' money for my needs." he tells me
"How? I mean you're just 18. How did you manage to gather up so much money?" I ask, curiosity getting the best of me
"I always knew you were the curious kind." he points out and chuckles
I roll my eyes in reply.
"I have an interest in architectures. I design stuff for companies and hence the wealth follows." he explains
OH MY GOD!
"Wow, no wonder you love physics." I say and he chuckles
"You are one of a kind, aren't you?" he says, his voice laced with amusement
"Whatcha mean?" I ask, raising my eyebrow
"Usually when people find out about my work, they're either shocked and surprised or are trying to get on my good side so I help them out with money or job or something but here you are, stating how you uncovered the reason behind my love for physics, seriously?" he says now laughing
"Oh." I say not knowing what else to comment and he chuckles, shaking his head at me
"We're here." he says
"Wow!" I breath out as I take in my surroundings.
