HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!

Chp 6

A WEEK has passed by since my first day and I have been engulfed with tones and tones of work that the teachers gave before I joined the school and are still mercilessly giving.

The girls and I couldn't be any closer.
We seriously talk to each other all the damn time and it never bores us. Like we'll be talking about absolute nonsense and still not get bored.

I keep getting attached to them with each passing minute and I know one thing for sure, that if those girls leave me, I am never going to get over the heartbreak.

I don't know why I'm still risking my emotions but being friends with them is one of THE most wonderful thing that has ever happened to me.

We all have somehow made a tradition to meet up at a Cafe and grab breakfast an hour before the school starts.

We don't do anything special, just have a light random conversation or surf through our respective phones or complete some assignment or anything at all. But just being with each other keeps us sane for the rest of the day.

We just finished our breakfasts and are now on our way to the school.

I still don't have a car so GG suggested we both go together to school since we're neighbors but then Nat thought it would be a great entry if we went together to school and got out off the car all at once, she said it would look like we're some gang members. Yep, leave all those crazy ideas for Nat to come up with.

Hence, we all carpool to school.

We reached the school minutes later and as Nat said, everybody does turn to look at us every time every day we get down. Their expressions are always as if they were completely mesmerized and fascinated by us. We 5 just grin and walk inside as if we own the damn place.

"Just look at how my squad entry idea is working." Nat exclaimed in an 'I told you so' tone

"Ya ya Nat, your childhood dream is coming true, we can see that." Jo spoke with an eye roll

"But it's just so epic how we enter and the wind blows our hair." Nat gushed

"Cut the drama would you!" I hushed her with an eye roll

"Ya ya whatever." Nat shrugged

We walked towards our respective lockers. The girls had asked to get their lockers together before I joined. I am going to put in a request to change my locker and have it near their's too.
So they stopped when their lockers came and I kept walking since mine was a little ahead of their's.

I was scrolling through the acceptance letters from the places I've applied for a job while walking which was a mistake because a few moments later, I crashed into something. More like someone. And I now had coffee all over my sweatshirt. Ughh! This one was one of my favorites.

I looked up to see ocean blue eyes and the face that owned them. Damn! It's getting hard to breath. I was so captured by his handsomeness that I failed to notice how pissed the person was.

"Watch where the fuck you're going!" the owner of the eyes screamed

"Well I think you could say the same to yourself considering I'm drenched in coffee right now?" I snapped 

"Are you blind or what? Who the fuck looks into their phone while walking?" he said

"Well some of us here actually have important stuff to check unlike some useless knobheads here." I countered back

"Well precious, are you blind and stupid?" he questioned

"My eyesight was working just fine the last time I checked and I now think you should just get lost yeah?" I said deadpanned

He was going to say something but some guy who I guessed as Zeke came and took him away.

But then I couldn't help myself and screamed,

"Hey Mr. Whatever-your-name-is, try using the eyes that God very kindly has gifted you with yeah?" I smirked while he growled

Soon after the other guys from Aiden's group came and took away that arsehole.

"Dude do you even know who you messed with?" GG exclaims with horror

"What is he some gang leader that's gonna send goons after me to get me killed?" I said with a chuckle

"He may not be a gang leader of the underworld but he sure is their gang leader." Jo said pointing towards the guys who now stood in front of what I assumed were their lockers

"Mind elaborating?" I asked them with a raised eyebrow

"He is the 4th member/the leader we were talking about when we introduced the other guys at cafeteria the other day." Ly explained coolly

"So what role does he play, the liar, or the cockhead, or the biggest arsehole in the whole wide world?" I said not understanding as to why it was a big deal

"She doesn't get it at all does she?" Nat said with a pitiful look

"He is the worst of them all, the most arrogant one, Matthew Knight. You never want to speak to him, he is too arrogant and egoistic. He is so loaded that he could get this whole school sued if he wished to. So you better stay as far away from him as possible." informed GG with horror all over her face

"Guys, you are just overreacting. So what if he's loaded? He is a complete arsehole for all I care. And either ways, I was never planning on talking to the jerk ever again either way so you have nothing to worry about." I spoke

I looked over to the guy and as if sensing me, he looked up at me too but I looked away as soon as we made an eye contact.

After that we just walked to our respective classes and I had art right now which is one of the classes that I don't share with any of the girls.

I walked in and took a seat at the back of the class.
People started filling in and soon there was only one seat empty and that was beside me. But the teacher came in and that meant, that nobody else would be allowed to enter the class since this lady is extremely punctual.

But my words just had to be proven wrong didn't they?
Because the second I thought about nobody coming, I here a voice,

"May I come in?" the voice spoke rather rudely

I could not see the person because he was shielded by the entrance door.
But the voice sounded oddly familiar.

"Late again are we?" said the teacher

"Coach." said the guy

The teacher just sighed and signaled the guy to take a seat.

Wow, this teacher almost murders the students who come in late and this guy said one word and he gets the entry?

I looked up only to catch the eyes that I oh so wanted to avoid for the rest of my life. And then the realization hits me that the only seat left empty was beside mine.

Ohh God!
