It's Thursday today, my flight back to Florida leaves tonight and I still haven't told the girls about it.
Matt has been showing signs that he knows about me visiting Florida this weekend but so far he hasn't said anything to anybody.
I was currently sitting in the art class with Matt in silence since the teacher was yet to come.
"Where the fuck is that woman?" Matt growls in frustration
"Relax, she's probably stuck somewhere." I say coolly
"She's probably stuck sucking someone's face." he says rolling his eyes
"There she is." I say pointing towards the door
"See, told you she was busy sucking someone's face." he says pointing to her puffed lips
I got to admit, she does look like she just had a make out session.
"Whatever." I say rolling my eyes
"Students, you all are free for this lecture. You can do whatever you want" she announces
"Now I love her." Matt says making me chuckle
"Let's go." I say, packing my stuff
"Where?" he asks
"Library."
"Why?"
"I'm not here for the weekend so let's get some project work done." I explain
"I thought I'd be able to take a nap." he says whining like a kid and boy does he look adorable
Kelly, snap out of it!
"Shut up, let's go." I say and he reluctantly gets up

It's been 20 minutes of us in the library and Matt has successfully annoyed the shite out of me.
"Matthew Knight, you boop my nose one more time and you're dead." I say with a glare
"Ya ya." he says rolling his eyes
Before I could say another word my phone rings.
Dad.
"Hey daddy." I greet with a smile
"Hey princess. When does your flight leave?" he asks
"Tonight." I answer and look up to Matt only to see him on his phone
"What do you have in mind?" he asks knowing I probably have something planned for family time
"I was thinking we could go to a resort for the weekend and celebrate my first paycheck."
"We would love to but your mom and I are packed for the weekend." he says sighing
"We'll see what we can do when I reach there." I say not wanting to continue the conversation and land up into even more disappointment
"As you say, princess." he says
"Bye dad. See you soon." I say and disconnect the call
"What happened?" Matt asks and I look up at him
"Nothing." I answer sighing
"You know you can tell me anything right? I mean I may be a badboy but I am trustworthy. I can keep secrets." he says gently
"It's just that my parents are lawyers to some rich businessman and that guy works them up so much. They legit never get a break for family." I finally admit, sighing
I have no clue why I chose to tell him about this.
"You at least have them to care for you." he mumbles but I still hear it
"Pardon?" I ask wanting him to clearly tell me what he meant
"Nothing." he says with an edge to his voice, a very scary edge
"You know you can talk to me right?" I say softly
"Weren't you the one who said we'd be the last people to open up to each other?" he says coldly
There goes the sweet Matthew and here comes the arrogant Matt.
I swear to God, this guy is bipolar!
"Tringggggg!" the bell rang signaling the class has ended
"Lunch?" I ask Matt, gathering my stuff
"And what makes you think we could walk to lunch together?" he snaps
"Suit yourself." I say leaving even though his harsh tone hurt me a bit
"HEYYYY BEAUTIFUL!!!" Aiden screams from across the hallway as soon as I step out of the library
"Shut up!" I whisper-yell not wanting to grab anymore of the attention because people were already looking at us
Does this guy have no self control?
"I MISSED YOU!!!" he screams, AGAIN
Guess not.
"Sorry bud but the feeling's not mutual." I deadpan
"Ouch." he says placing a hand on his chest and pretends to be hurt while I just roll my eyes at him
"Anyway, Kelly, we wanted to introduce you to someone." Ryder says slapping the back of Aiden's head
"Why are people so violent?" Aiden mutters but we ignore it
"It's alright." Nat says massaging the place where Ryder hit Aiden
"Honestly babe, you're the only one who understands me. These people are all dicks." he says to Nat while she blushes
"Oh cut the PDA!" Jo says voicing our thoughts
"So who am I meeting?" I ask Ryder
But before he could answer,
"Jayden!" Matt exclaims doing this bro-hug sorta thing with some guy
Matt moves away and,
"Jay-Jay?" I say not being able to believe my eyes
"Squirt?" the guy says
"I missed you!!!" I scream running towards the guy and hug the life outta him
"I missed you too!!" he screams back spinning me around while I laugh my heart out
"What?" I hear Matt speak but Jay and I don't break our hug
We finally break it and,
"You never told me this was the Jayden you were talking about all along!" I scream at Aiden, Ryder, Zeke and Matt with excitement laced in my voice
"Why because he's your long forgotten boyfriend?" Matt snaps
"Well isn't he just absolutely right babe." Jayden says placing his arm on my shoulder
"WHAT?!!" everybody screams at once
