KELLY'S POV

"So how are we planning to get ready for the party tonight?" Jo asked after the laughter died down

"Well my work gets over at 4 today so you guys could come to my apartment and we could get ready together." I offer

"How will we manage to get ready so fast?" Nat exclaims

"What time does the party start?" I ask taking a bite of my muffin

"At 8." Ryder informed

"Well then come to my apartment at 5 and then we'll be ready by 8. As far as I know, the place where the party is held is approximately half hour away from my place. So we'll reach their at 8:30pm. We'll be fashionably late." I say and flip my hair for the dramatic effect

"You have the solution to everything, don't you?" Matt says

"Well what to say? I'm great, huh?" I say with a smirk making him roll his eyes but a smile still found a place on his lips

"Cool then. We'll meet you at your apartment sharp at 5." Ly says

"GG, you gonna drop me off at work?" I ask her, hopeful that she says yes coz I'm in no mood to walk again

"I'm really sorry, Kel but I need to visit my aunt and that's why I'm even gonna leave school early today. Sorry Kel." she apologizes

"You don't have to apologize, GG. It's okay. Don't worry, I'll walk." I say and try to hide my disappointment

"I'm sorry, squirt. I would've dropped you too but I have an extra class after school today." Jay says

"One of us would've dropped you too but Ryder and I ended up in detention." Aiden says

"It's okay, guys. You don't have to be sorry. I'm fine with walking."

"It's okay. Your workplace comes on my way to home so I'll drop you." Matt says and all of us turn to him, shocked

What shocked us was that Matt was offering help that too to me. That too voluntarily.

Wow!

"That's if you're okay with taking a lift with me." he says when I don't say anything

"Refuse to your offer and miss a ride in that beauty of your's? No chance." I say making him chuckle

"Also, when you boys are ready, come to my place and we'll go together. Alright?" I suggest

"Done." Zeke says and the other boys nod

"Alright then, see ya after school, precious." he says when we all leave for our respective classes.

I finished up work and then walked to my apartment.
I got crisps and cold drinks ready so all of us could have something to eat before we leave for the party.

Currently, the girls and I were almost ready.
GG was applying my makeup, slight makeup as I had sternly told her that I'm only putting it on because she wanted me to.

Ly was kind enough to help me to my hair while Nat and Jo picked out my dress and shoes.

All this happened despite of my numerous protests that I can do all this just fine by myself.
At the end, I had to accept my defeat and agree to whatever they wanted me to do.
