"No more expectations,
Just gonna go with the flow and whatever happens, happens."

I enter that main hallway and am miserably failing at the attempt of not getting noticed because apparently people like to stare at newbies. Stupid jobless humans who are just wasting the oxygen prepared by our very valuable plants by their mere existence!

If you think that I'm pissed, then you're guessing absolutely right because I AM PISSED!
Because the people are already judging me by the way I look, I mean seriously, they are gonna piss in their pants the moment they speak to me.
Because I've been told that I am 'unnecessarily' sarcastic and rude. Which by the way, I certainly am NOT.
People just annoy me. That's probably why I don't have friends.

I obviously wasn't this way from the very beginning. I used to be extremely friendly but then as I've said before, my relationships never last more than 2 months with a non blood-related person. Because by the time it's been 2 months, they realize that how I am and leave so I just decided that I am going to be hard on people from the very beginning since I have absolute no interest in starting a friendship with anyone whatsoever.

Either way, they're gonna leave me at the end and close off the relationship so why even bother starting it right?

It is now that I realize that I have no clue as to where the reception is since I need to go grab my schedule and locker number before joining my first class.

I grab hold of a girl walking by and ask her where the reception is to which she replies, "come on, I am going that way too, I'll walk you to the reception."

And without even waiting for an answer she grabs my wrist and leads the way.
Okay, the reception was quite far and needed a lot of turns from the entrance. I would've never reached here all by myself so I am gonna thank this girl later.

It is now that I notice that she is slightly taller to me, has sunflower blonde shoulder length hair, chocolate brown eyes which are shielded by specs and she seems to love pink because well, her shirt is pink, her jeans are whitish-pink, her backpack is pink and her shoes are pink too, even her specs frames are pink.
Gosh! This girl LOVES pink!

We reach the reception and I turn to face her, "Thanks, I would've never found the way myself."

I am not sure if the tone was sassy or not but for me it was humble enough for a first conversation.
She doesn't seem to mind so because she replies, "Oh it's completely alright." and flashes me a full eye to eye smile and walks away. No, she skips away. Woah! Very cheerful of her on a Monday, huh?

I walk inside the cabin and look towards the lady.

"Hey, Morning, I am a new student and I need my schedule." I say calmly

I may be rude to people but I always make sure that I'm humble and respectful towards teachers or any elder for that matter.

"Of course, may I know your name child?" she smiles and asks

Wow... She is an awfully sweet receptionist as compared to my old school receptionist.God, that lady was a nightmare.

"Kelly Kent" I reply

She hands me my schedule while I say a quick 'thanks' and leave.

I walk and not skip, towards room 129 since my first lecture after homeroom (I missed it because I couldn't find the reception before the girl came.) is AP Literature...

What does the rest of the 1st school day hold for Kelly?

Is she going to be happy she is here or is she going to hate the place?

Is she going to find unexpected surprises or is she going to be the same old loner?
