"i don't think this is necessary" nabi said as dohee kept placing clothes in front of nabi's body - trying to figure out which outfit she should wear for her date with jaemin later
"of course this is necessary" dohee replied as she threw the clothes away - not caring where it would land before pulling out other clothes from nabi's wardrobe
"okay stop, you're making a mess" "i'll clean it" "you better"
dohee sighed as she stood with her arms akimbo while staring at her friend's now empty wardrobe. "your clothes are boring" nabi gasps dramatically as she put a hand over her chest
"excuse me?" "you're excused"
and on cue nabi gasping dramatically which dohee ignored as she began to scan the clothes around her. "OH" dohee exclaimed loudly as she picks up a stripe pastel colored sweater as well as a ripped denim bottoms
"since the movie theatre is cold, you should wear something warm" dohee said before passing the clothes to nabi which fortunately caught
"isn't this too much?" nabi raised the clothes in her hold as she grimaces at dohee. dohee rolled her eyes at her friend before marching over and pushed her to the bathroom
"shut up and change woman"

"i'll forgive you if you buy me popcorn" nabi bluntly said to jaemin who only nodded his head. jaemin was late because he originally didn't want to come but in the end, he did
the two head towards the cashier to buy drinks and food for their movie. "one drink is enough right? i'll buy the biggest size" nabi nodded and waited patiently beside him as he ordered their food
"i'll ca-" "no need" jaemin turned his body away so nabi couldn't grab the stuff he's currently carrying. "you sure?" jaemin nodded and motioned her to start walking
they both made their way towards their theatre and tried to find their seats. luckily jaemin bought the ones in the middle so they can watch comfortably. they both sat down and jaemin put the popcorn on the table in front of them while the drink is on the table beside nabi
the movie was going to start soon, to pass time quickly - nabi decided to converse with the male. "never knew you like this kind of movies" nabi lightly chuckled at remembering the ticket jaemin bought for the two of them

jaemin cursed mentally, he didn't think nabi will say anything about it. he clears his throat awkwardly before rubbing his nape slowly, "it just.. seems interesting"
nabi raised a brow at him as she wore a teasing smile. "i wouldn't be surprised if i see plushies in your room" jaemin immediately snapped his head towards her with a baffled look
"what? a male can't own plushies?" nabi snorted as she covered her mouth, "you actually own plushies?" realization hits jaemin as his eyes widened, he's internally freaking out. he clears his throat awkwardly as incoherent mumbles were let out from his mouth
nabi giggled before nudging his upper arm with her elbow lightly, "don't worry... i think it's cute" she whispers as the movie began
now you might be wondering, how in the world is nabi so confident and not all shy and stuff. well, that's all because of the writer. nabi is actually surprised at how different she's acting right now, since in fact, at this moment, it's a stage
jaemin bit his bottom lips at her words before looking away, trying to compose himself. they both leaned back to watch the movie comfortably. then out of nowhere, the sound came back which shocked nabi
'huh? that was fast'
nabi was surprised at how fast her stage ended, she raised her head to watch the movie but was surprised as her mouth went agape at the screen in front of her. the screen became upside down as in this moment, it's in the shadows not like earlier during the stage - the screen was in the right position
as they continue to watch, nabi munches on the popcorn - jaemin as well. nabi's hand went inside the bowl to grab some but was surprised to grab another thing. she looked over to the bowl with her eyes widened, she is currently holding jaemin's hand
jaemin chuckled before teasingly said, "if you wanted to hold my hand, then just say so" nabi immediately retracted her hand to her lap as she felt embarrassed of what just happened.
jaemin smiled amusingly before swiftly brought his hand over to hers and intertwined their hands together. nabi stiffen at the warm feeling enveloping her hand right now, she slowly looked down to see their hands intertwined on her lap which looked so right in nabi's eyes
she looked to her left to see jaemin staring straight to the movie which was funny to nabi because the screen's upside down but only nabi can see that. nabi decided to not think much about their hands and continue watching the movie
in the middle of the movie, jaemin released his hand from her which disappointed nabi but that disappointment changed into a flustered one real quick. jaemin swung his right arm behind nabi to place it on her seat as he leaned forward to grab the drink on nabi's right. of course, the gap between them was real close, his right cheek softly brushed against her nose
nabi was surprised at how her watch is still silent right now because her heart is racing so fast as she felt herself getting warmer.
jaemin slurped the drink before putting it on the table in front of them and leaned back. he then placed his hand on her lap to intertwined it with hers. nabi would be lying if she said her heart is not fluttering right now,
she felt his thumb swiping over her skin repeatedly, nabi found that action really sweet and soothing so she continued to watch the movie with a smile on her face.
