a few weeks later
they were done with their finals 2 weeks ago in fact, they just had their graduation ceremony yesterday. graduating to nabi means her wedding is soon which of course excites her
but with that excitement, nabi's heart has acted a lot frequently than before. she spent the last week just going back and out of the hospital, her current condition worries everyone around her
so her parents and jaemin's parents decided to hold the wedding sooner, tomorrow. they don't know what's going to happen soon and they thought it's best to bind their children together now - the sooner the better
both of them invited everyone dear to them, their friends, classmates, some of the teachers, and of course a few businessmen and women who are their parents' friends. they also already chose their bridesmaids and best men, sure all of you already know who are those chosen people
just like any other myth, the couple wasn't allowed to meet each other a week before the wedding so they mostly stayed in their own houses. it wasn't easy for them since they miss the other very easily but they know it'll be all worth it in the end
especially since their parents already bought a house for them to live in, nabi's parents said to her that it's important to give a married couple their privacy which of course brought many thoughts into nabi's head and some weren't that.. appropriate
"are you nervous dear?" nabi craned her head to the side to see her mother by the doorway. "in less than 24 hours.. i'm married mum" her mother smiled as she approached her child and embraced her warmly
"my butterfly's all grown up" nabi chuckled at her mother's words before snuggling deeper to her hug, "i'm always your little butterfly, no matter how old i am"
her mother nodded in approval as she gently stroke her daughter's hair. nabi closed her eyes as she relaxed in her mother's arms, that action always brought her to think a lot of thoughts
thoughts like will she be a good wife? will she cry and ruin her makeup tomorrow? will the wedding run smoothly? lots of thoughts but the thought that bore into her mind the most is
will i last until the wedding ends?

"KWON NABI-AH" nabi flinched at the familiar loud noise before turning around slowly to be faced with her best friend, choi dohee.
"oh my jisoos... you are absolutely serving looks honey" nabi gigled at her friend's words before dramatically covering her face, "oh stop it, i'm blushing"
"okay not the reponse i want, you should've compliment me back. geez kwon nabi definitely doesn't have any sense" "i will stab you with my chanel heels dohee"
"okay no one is murdering anyone" the two girls sighed at the sound of a familiar voice. "hey saeron~" dohee happily waved at the girl as she waved back before focusing on nabi
"woah nabi, jaemin is going to drop his jaw ten feet under the ground" saeron's compliment made the three girls chuckle. but behind that little laughter, nabi was nervous as heck on the inside
"thanks for the compliments guys, but i'm still a bit nervous though" nabi took deep breaths as she tried to calm herself. "hey, it's okay. everything will be alright" "yeah, the wedding will run smoothly, don't worry nabi"
nabi was grateful to know these two girls even though she met saeron a little later but she's still very grateful. she took one long deep breath before slowly exhaling it making nabi more relaxed than before
"there's my girl" dohee exclaimed which brought nabi burst into laughter. "we should take a photo" dohee and nabi agreed to saeron's idea and the three of them posed with dohee the one with the longest arms to hold the phone
after their little photo session, nabi's waiting room door flew open and jeno walked in. "hey.." nabi replied with a little wave at the approaching male. seeing his presence, the two other girls decide to leave them some space to talk comfortably but of course, not forgetting to exchange greetings between the three
"i just wanted to check up on you first.." "thanks jeno" nabi pulled the male into a warm hug but not that tight though or else nabi's makeup is going to be ruined and he didn't want to somehow ruin her dress. jeno lightly patted her back before the two released the hug
"it's your happy day so smile a lot okay?" nabi nodded as she showed him a wide smile which made him also smile. "by the way jeno..." jeno hummed in response as he waited for nabi to continue her words
"i've heard every single word you said in the infirmary... thank you for always being there for me, thank you for helping me change the story, thank you for believing in me, thank you for worrying about me... thank you for everything jeno"
jeno only replied with a smile as a knock on the door was heard and the person said the ceremony's starting in 3 minutes. "well then, your king awaits you my lady" jeno bowed down as he held out his hand for nabi
nabi took a deep breath before taking jeno's hand, she smiled at his action when he placed a chaste kiss on her hand - knowing it means as an act of assurance for her. the two teenagers walk out of her waiting room and arrived near the hallway where she'll be walking through
"i'll leave you to your father okay?" nabi nodded as jeno passed nabi's hand to her father which he warmly took.
"are you nervous?" nabi nodded as she wore a small smile which made the father chuckle warmly. "i always pray the best for you my little butterfly"
nabi felt tears already coming so she only smiled as she managed to whisper out, "thank you dad, i love you and mum so much"
since the father and daughter were so into the heartwarming situation, nabi's father placed a soft kiss on her forehead as they began to call out for nabi to come in
"are you ready butterfly?"
